Suggestions / Heavy Ballistic Integration for Legion

Main problem with the Legion is that it still cannot perform well either as a full carrier (lack of supporting system) or a combat carrier (abismal flux stats) so it simply doesnt worth to field it for 40dp instead of other options.
Now my proposal is to give it Heavy Ballistic Integration. I know i know already too many ship have that hullmod but listen. All capital ships with large ballistic slots should get it. It makes sense gameplay wise so you use the guns instead of massing hullmods. AND it makes perfect sense lore wise as BIG BAD ships are designed to have BIG BAD guns.
The legion should get HBI and 10-20 plusz OP netting in for 20-30 extra OP that you cant just spend on fighters and hullmods. So it would be encuraged to build it as a combat carrier as its lower flux stat is still preventing it to be a full brawler and using just mining pods.
Maybe give it one just one backward pointing medium or small ballistic slot for pd. It is just so anoying that anyone would desing a ship with such a glaring weakness.

With buffs like this it perhaps could be a meaningful choice to field it rather than the Onslaught.

I dont think so.
In an other discussion thread someone mentioned that Thumper is buffed and it is a good weapon now. I tried to make it work on Falcon and other midline ships but every time it would have been better to simply use the more classic balistic options.

Does anyone have a good build that uses Thumper?

I think maybe extending its range and lowering its dps may make it a designated anti-fighter weapon. The ballistic counterpart of the new IR-Autolance if you will. Sadly fighters are not that scary this release either so i dont think many people would use them even then.

Okay it was clickbait. Im not about to bash anyones hard work, the sprite is beautifully made. Just the concept is not fitting. It looks very bloated for a midline ship, just being missile only doesnt make it fit this tech level. Also, missiles facing backward is just silly. I know it has gameplay reasons to not make it op with torpedoes. I think that could be done with missiles facing to the sides and it would look far more convincing.
Overall it has the looks of a ship from a mod and doesnt really fit the theme of the vanilla game.

Ehich is the best value/dp ship for missilie spam inn your oppinion? Im thinking ships with medium missile slots beacuse large missiles are rare and usually have long refire time and small missiles have too low ammo.

Suggestions / Shorten distruption times

Why is it that with a simple bombardment i can distrup the workings of a facility for whole year. When bulding that same facility from nothing takes 90 days. It makes no sense lorewise, and it is pretty annoying gamplaywise

Modding / IE, DIY, and boggled

"Industrial evolution", "DIY planets", and "Terraforming and Station Construction"
How do these mod interract?
Which is best, can they be used simultaniously?

As simple as that. If there are recoverable ships that were owned by the player make the UI ask for confirm if the player clicks "continue" when they could consider ship recovery. I misclicked on it more than once, and lost some some smodded ships, so i had to load a previus save and had to fight the battles again.
Just a simple doble check would be nice, like "There are ships recoverable that you lost during combat, are you sure you dont want to do that?"

This one works fine for me, probably can be better. Still think that the legion underperforms compared to other capitals, it should only be 35 DP or should get like 20-30more OP.

Suggestions / Make AI more agressive/reasonable

So it has been debated in a lot of topics in general but i have not found it in suggestions yet.

The problem is that as of this patch AI just acts stupid. There are many problem some of it was summed up quite well in an other topic.
Ships are backing off for no reason all the time.
Ships are dropping shields for no reason all the time.
Ships are ignoring move/target orders and stopping to shoot at nearby enemies or station all the time.
Ships can't move around space stations to shoot at working sections, just staying at one place, patiently waiting for space station to turn to them.
Ships can't move around debris without teleportation abilities.
Ships don't use acceleration abilities to shorten the distance in many cases. And when they do, they ram into enemies with shields dropped.
Ships block each other when shooting at common target. Then try to back off into each other at high flux.
Ships are using high damage, low rate of fire guns when manoevring, missing half of shots on stationary target.

There are other problems as well but these are the most painfull and the most conspicuous. Most of these could be solved if friendly ships would be more agressive or at least would engage at reasonable times.

Suggestions / Limit numbers of enemy officers

This have been said before in a lot of posts, but i havent found one neither in suggestions nor in general. So I make one exclusevly for this one here.

With officers and frigates being lot more stronger now it has become really really unfair that enemy fleets can have unlimited numbers of officers. This has made slammel ships much harder to kill and not only made fleet battles harder, but the real problem is that it made it much longer and therefore more costly.

There should be a limit, maybe it should be higher than the one for the player, but this much is just unfair.

General Discussion / Pay for the galatia academy missions

First of all I absolutely love the new story missions, and the characters. Beacuse of this im doing a lot of the main story missions for the Academy. Many of these are somewhat hard but most importantly they are expensive, some even cost around 100k, beacuse of suplies and stuff. My problem is that i dont get paid for these missions as i get for normal ones and i think i definitely should. It is also problematic for roleplay reason, is my pirate captain doing all thios work beacuse he has a good heath? or beacuse he loves sience? Please implement some pay for these missions.
