Something about the fighter wings added in your mods is not playing nice when using "allwings" command with console command. Everytime I try to access the storage it crashed my game.

Hey there, thanks for the mod. I'm loving it so far but I've got a question. If I run this mod with a compatible mod to add factions or ships, would they be affected by the vanilla changes of having additional launch bays and smaller weapon mount?

Ah, I very much wish that was possible, but alas it is not. The only way to do that would be for me to either get permission from the mod author to rework their balance for Archean Order as a separate standalone release (not sure how many would agree to that) or have the mod authors do it themselves. It is potentially a lot of work depending upon how many assets would have to be rebalanced.

Even if I could somehow proceedurally rebalance existing factions using code in Archean Order, there would be many mod authors who would find that kind of hackery to be aggressive or abusive to their vision of their mod- and so I'd have to set up a list of approved mods, etc, etc.

I'm not saying you shouldn't ask them if you want that, but I wouldn't be surprised if the response was a polite decline. :)

Ah, I thought as much. While I would like even more fighters, weapons, and ship hulls in-game, it would be horrible to play if the balance was out of wack. I am a big believer in the superiority of fighters after all  ;)

I grew up reading scifi and space operas, like David Weber, Elizabeth Moon, John Ringo and my absolute favourite Randolph Lalonde.

Lalonde created a universe almost exactly the same as Starsector with his novel series The Spinward Fringe. If you are a fan of this game and the lore I would strongly suggest having a look at that series. Even the prequel books are free.

That universe Lalonde created was where you can have a ship, modify it to your hearts content, with all the low tech and high tech and fighters, and go out into the great beyond ruled by Mega-Corp and Multi-System Alliances. Where you can trade, smuggle, kill or build your way into a a force that can be reckon with in the sector. And this game is it. The moment I realised the degree of freedom you have in this game I immediately bought it. Never have I ever buy a game this quickly before.

The only thing that I missed from the series that I would like in this game is the ability to modify fighter hulls and modify weapons mount. And boarding but you guys have beaten that horse to the ground already. I just want to say thank you for this game. God I wish I could afford to give you more money for creating a game that gives substance to a game of my dream.
