Also Sierra counts towards your officer limit, cannot be reassigned despite being removable by storing whatever ship it is in, making it simply cumbersome to use. Either just make Sierra a normal officer or integrate it into the quest ship if the API allows it.

Edit:Storing whatever ship Sierra is on makes the ship still have Sierra in it but makes Sierra reassignable to any other ship, leading to infinite Sierras.

sra_asplode_02.ogg is stereo instead of mono unlike all the other ship explosion sounds for some reason. It sounds out of place when using headphones.

Currently revitalizing(respeccing) an officer at any VIC revitalizing centre makes the skill "Officer Training"(or L4L) not apply to that officer. I'm guessing this part of the code hasn't changed since the last version of Starsector?

Prism Freeport sells HVB boss ships right off the bat when Vayra's Sector isn't installed. Is this so that you're not locked out of the boss ships without Vayra's Sector or simply because there is no variable associated with the ships so it just defaults to selling them?

There is a minor issue in the special contact mission when you go down the bribe route, I had to talk to the portmaster twice for the "Return to Prism Freeport" mission prompt to show up in the interaction dialog which probably means that returning to Prism without talking twice won't let you progress? Edit:Did it again and it was just the prompt not showing up. Though there is some weirdness like docking immediately with Asharu after buying them makes the "Return to Prism Freeport" show up before "Your fleet approaches Asharu". Is this because of the vanilla mission system and not Nexerelin?

It seems that the new response fleet feature is bugged, a fleet without an assignment spawned nearby after a raid.

The Crook needs a nerf. Flux-free 600 kinetic DPS with 770 range is too good for 5 DP. Most normal frigates except for the Omen is a easy one-sided battle because of the 770 range.
Also the Nebulite's designation is "Converter Miner" which sounds like a typo, isn't it supposed to be "Converted Miner"?

Might be intended and not really a balance issue either since remnant fighters pale in comparison to the "new" fighters and also not impossible lore-wise too but kinda felt weird so posting it anyway.

I didn't fight anything in the same star system prior to encountering the cabal fleet. I just jumped into the Magec system and immediately after I got intercepted by the irregular cabal fleet.
The LOW_REP_IMPACT flag is, for some *** reason, not checked on both sides when infecting other fleets.  Is Alex aware?
Does this mean its a bug or oversight in vanilla code? Like somehow a flag that shouldn't be there ended up on a cabal fleet? I once had a independent scavenger fleet respond to the encrypted broadwave signal event and try to intercept me while still in "independent mode".(this only ever happened once so it must be some kind of very rare bug or some mod script.) Maybe this and that are related?

The Cabal considers the act of simply flying near them a hostile act and when you interact with them in that state, if you decide to pay up and turn on your transponder you will instantly get dropped to hostile rep in the interaction dialog with no warning. Why do they require the transponder now and why is flying close to them considered a hostile act anyway?

What version of Underworld are you using?  Are you sure it actually dropped Cabal reputation, and not some other faction?
The newest, since it has all the new cabal capital ships. The reputation drop wasn't through the interaction dialog (rules.csv) but it was through the transponder ability itself where it starts glowing red and trying to turn it on normally would invoke a "Faction X will turn hostile are you sure" prompt. I guess turning it on through the interaction dialog completely skips that prompt. The rep drop showed up behind the interaction dialog in the normal intel thing where all the nexerelin stuff and such appear.
I tried to recreate this because a screenshot would be better, but couldn't get them to set the "hostile act" flag to turn on so I'll just write some additional info that may or may not be useful.
The cabal fleet was in a debris field generated by a battle the fleet was probably in and I couldn't see them where as they were able to see me while in the standing down state.
The interaction dialog was started by them.(I did not click on them)
I was hostile with Tri-tachyon and most other factions except for the cabal which was at -5 rep. The rep change intel showed -45 too.

Sorry I didn't mean to be too serious nor I was trying to make you uncomfortable in any way.
It's just that the "lets you play the game but screws it up in subtle ways" behavior really reminded me of those kind of things.

Apparently the current version of MagicLib affects some mod weapons which it shouldn't and makes projectiles curve depending on which direction the ship is moving in. The weapons I found to be affected are the Edict Stormblaster from Arsenal Expansion and the Plasma Flamer from SWP.

All the ships in the picture are strafing to the right.
 The left hammerhead is with MagicLib on and the middle is without. The right is the Edict Stormblaster with MagicLib on, and I cannot get a screenshot without because Arsenal Expansion requires MagicLib. Both weapons are severely impacted and the Edict is pretty much useless because the AI doesn't expect any of that curving.
Ship/Weapon pack doesn't require MagicLib so I am assuming it doesn't use any features, yet is affected.
Arsenal Expansion was last updated on 2020/01/05 while MagicLib 0.30 was updated on 2021/02/11 so it shouldn't be using some feature that wasn't released yet at the time.
Reverting to 0.29 fixes both problems.
So I am pretty sure this is a bug regarding the new jitter feature added, unless it is some kind of intentional sabotage which sadly tends to happen in modding from time to time.
