So I just got the mod and I've run into a bit of an issue with it.

The second mission is to investigate a planet in what I assume is a randomly picked system. Well, thanks to my surveying in the early game, I have already surveyed every planet in the system the mission is telling me to go investigate. So I'm sort of stuck.

Help please.

I will say I like the idea behind the limited gates. It makes you consider them when you are setting up colonies. :)

There might be a way to reset that the exploration done on that planet via the console mod. But I don't know what command you would need off the top of my head. You can type in "help" to get that figured out or ask on the mod page itself.

Suggestions / Sorting in Refit/Doctrine/Manufacture

Hi all. So a suggestion as is posted in title.

A way to sort weapons in refit firstly would be super. As there is no way to sort weapons by type (such as by tags, or weapon damage type).
And those added sort options would be super in doctrine and manufacture as well. So that you can compare each weapon type and designate what you want your doctrine to be.

This can extend to ships in doctrine too. Tag sorting that is.

Some are rar files. You still can use 7zip to unpack those. But you do need to unpack all the files. Then place the folder that contains all the parts so that the file path looks like

mods\Another Portrait Pack

NOT

mods\Another Portrait Pack\Another Portrait Pack

Does that make sense?

Is it possible to reactivate "Respawning factions" during the game?
Aka on an already created save?

If so, does anyone know where the value is stored?
(I actually just want the first question answered, i'll find it as long as it doesn't break anything)

Thats basically my only complaint: I screwed up the setup

If you use the command console mod, and you use "help" you can find something like OpenNexConfig or something and adjust it there.

I could very well have installed it incorrectly. But I'll try to re-install it without the extra music, and if that fails without music period.

Edit: And ah yes, the custom flags folder goes into the graphics folder yes? Nevermind, found it in the faction folder in the graphics folder.

Edit2: Got it to work. Had to re-install it. LoL. All I had to do was whine about it after I tried to fix it a few times then BAM, fixed after 1 try.

Luddic Enhancement should be up there as well - a mod that adds some ship skins to Luddic Church and Luddic Path, and helps strengthen their position in the sector in Corvus Nexerellin games.

While I do admittedly use it. I am not sure how much it really does in my game atm. Luddic church has around 8-10 settlements atm, And I know several of the pack mods I list give them ships/weapons etc.
But IMO the hegemony just needs to be nerfed to about 10-12 settlements from (I think) the 15-20 they start with. They start with a lot more than any other. Independents and pirates start with a lot too, but they don't go conquering planets en masse lol.

It definitely is content heavy. I never tried it, but I think it looks great and I'm glad you picked it back up and reworked it :)

Also, the International Bounty Board (IBB) is actually part of Ship/Weapon Pack, not Vayra's Sector, which actually adds a different bounty system entirely.

Any reason not to suggest Nexerelin? Too much to add for a enw player perhaps?

Other than that, I use most of these mods myself, among others. (Except for Borken. Need to look into that one and maybe get the new 4chan version)

Borken has some seriously unique weapon mechanics (TENTACLE SHIPS!), on top of the storage service. It's pretty good.

Fair enough. Borken looks pretty interesting, but I just started a new save and have like 5 hours in it so far. I don't really want to start a new game, this is like the third time in a week :( I just keep adding new mods that need a fresh save.
Gotcha, Yea I'm at the point where I'm not keen on adding more mods, but I might add 1-2 more depending on what they do.

I started a new playtrough as neutrino commissioned on nexerilin. Game start taking long to save and sometimes crashes when saving after a few saves in one sesion.
For example during a 3 hour sesion i save once after 40 minutes and everything is normal, save the second time after 1H20M a bit slower ,save at 2H it gets very slow and at the 4th time saving it either crashes or throw an error.

Re starting game solves this but i had read this could be caused by a "memory leak"?

The only 2 mods i added were this one (+graphic lib) and dark revenant's ship pack
Anyone had this issue before?

I use 7-zip. Gets it done quick.

The only problem with having a tonne of faction mods/content expansion mods is that right now there is no listed mod that sorts weapons in any way when refitting your ships (which is a shame).
So keep that in mind.
