Right, that makes sense and the semi-timer on this I think also makes sense - you only have so much time to regain the trust of the Luddic population etc etc.

There isn't, no. The condition should only be lost when the size grows if the conditions it requires are not met, right?
It can be lost when size grows with agreement with the church, it makes turning back from you deal meaningless if your colony reaches 6 after the deal.

And, besides - as you say - there are usually non-combat ways of dealing with these, and you can generally break the deal later. And besides *that*, it's not game over if you fail to deal with it.
Is there a way to regain Luddic Majority condition after reaching size 6? The condition is lost when size grows, which feels like posing a limited timer if I want to keep it.

Update: League blockade started to assemble while I'm far on fringe of the sector. Decided relation with Indi and Hegey wasn't worth the trouble tac-bombing Kazeron, got back in time riding slip streams to negotiate joining the league (and plan on back stabbing them later).

Running some smuggling between Pirates, Path and League to fund more colonies. The change that makes player filled demand last longer does make quite an impact.

Huh, I wonder if it can be negated with a Cryosleeper.
Will try it out, given IF I find the cryosleeper.

The takeover happened before I reach size 6, and I had to load save and negotiate with the Church  :(

Edit: I'm like "fk dat" and reloaded the save to tac-bomb Hesperus to keep my bonus

The new colony crisis system is awesome! The description of "Luddic Majority" states that the condition will be removed if it is negated when the colony size grow, so I'm trying to see what will happen if I reach size 6 before negotiating with the Church. Good luck me!

Also investigating if there is alternative solutions to League and Hegemony while remaining Independent. (For role playing motive)

Also great thanks to the dev team. Can't thank you guys enough!
