Yyyup. Ain't it always.

I certainly want to know when this mod will be available again, I have plots regarding several faction mods, and Tiandong is certainly up there.

Same issue here, I got two. Haven't even been stopping by for a year.

Funny thing about that null error right after a save...

The last thing it loaded was a script to change the ambiance in hyperspace, using a track from Steelclad. I'm noticing a potential pattern...

I must admit.
I really like extra options and stuff that this mod brings but tips are extra immersion breaking for some reason.

The way I see it, the on-ship interface always provides advice, yet the one I ended up with is defective and now inquires about contacting my mother and making sure I don't leave the oven on.

Fortunately, there is a way to turn this off by simply going to the mod folder, then opening the data folder, opening strings, and deleting tips.json. This has no impact on anything else besides the tips added by the mod, so it's perfectly safe.

You're sure about this? When I opened the ini it says that shaders must be active for compatibility sake.
Well, no time like the present I suppose, I'll test blackrock with neutered graphicslib and tell you if anything explodes.
Get me my prometheus.

Omni is probably right but... I've tasted Nexer. I can't just rehab from Nexer now. However, I did some poking around and decided to remove the mods that required graphicslib, including Glib itself, and the game runs significantly better! So well in fact, I have it up on the background and it's still intact! Sure, it takes some time to load up, but I can actually play now. Darn shame about blackrock though.

I've got arsenal expansion, blackrock, diable, Extratential Lanestate Union (Blue), GraphicsLib, Interstellar Imperium, Junk Pirates, LazyLib, Legacy of Akrgneisis, MagicLib, Nexerelin, ORA (I actually forget what that stands for), SCY, SpeedUp, Starship Legends, Sylphon, and Varya Sector.
I may have gone a bit too far in a few places.

I'll definitely try and lighten the load, but if anyone knows a particular issue I may be having, I'd love to know.

The game was running fine from the start, and after I got into modding, it was still fine for a while, performed just as well. Of course, soon I came upon an issue, occasional stuttering after a few seconds where the game would pause and then keep going. Also, trying to close the game caused some problems. Then I consulted the forum and found the page about dedicating more memory to the game. I did that, changed the Xms and Xmx to 4096, the game ran terribly, I realized I had 4 G of ram and that it didn't equate to 4 gigs of dedicated memory, downscaled it to 2096, it ran better, but after a few minutes the game basically craps itself. The simplest options of opening the menu, moving the camera, pressing any buttons whatsoever is liable to cause my game to freeze for a bit. Takes forever to save, forever to load, forever to close the game. I even went further down to Xms 1596 and it's still bad. What do?

Drivers and Java are up to date, and I have an Intel Pentium N3540. It's a poopy one, but again, it wasn't until I messed around with memory settings that all this cropped up.

Being the last Draft in a Lanestate Union invasion be like...

If this is one of those anti-link forums I didn’t look hard enough for the rules.

Right, this was the mod that added the revolutionaries. Thanks for that by the way, nothing can make me feel quite the same as being stranded next to a supergiant star in the middle of nowhere, finally seeing my rescue come in, but it’s the revolutionaries, naturally inhospitable from the start, they laugh in my face, and I’m left staring at the screen in disbelief as a recorder rendition of the Russian anthem plays.
Don’t go changing a thing.

Not sure whether this had been addressed, but is it, or will it be possible to claim colonies for the benefit of other factions? I kind of want to know if I can go full on interstellar Mount and Blade on this game.

Spoiler
I installed quite a few mods, but was this the one that added the quest that begins with you sharing war stories with other pilots, then they tell you about a run down ship in a random system and it's called "a promise" or something?

Because if so, do you have an explanation for why it spawned in the center of a sun?

Mods / Allow me to submit my humble gratitude

I wasn't paying attention when I downloaded the mod, I didn't notice that I needed LazyLib as a resource. As I started the game, it didn't break the window, or play loud static noises, or freeze my desktop and force me to resign my computer, or burst into an armageddon of indecipherable error codes I couldn't bypass. Instead, the game closes very cleanly and a text box opens saying "excuse me kind chap, you have not yet installed LazyLib, we would appreciate if you did so now" before gently escorting me off the premises. I have not been shown this kindness by a mod for any mistake before, you are a beacon of hope for modding communities everywhere.
Wealth beyond measure, outlander.
