I really like this mod, especially the Exo Tech stuff but there are so many grammar and spelling mistakes. I know that saying such negative stuff is strictly prohibited or whatever, but it's unfortunately true. Hope that's okay to say.

Im not sure where in the world you are that saying such a minor point of feedback is considered prohibited
Just my personal experience with online forums. But maybe I could help improve spelling, grammar and overall variety in the writing? How would one go about it? I understand if you don't wish to involve a stranger.

These are some of the most gorgeous sprites I've ever seen. I hope to some day emulate this level of craftsmanship. I only wish there were more KoL ships or reskinned existing ships in the same pretty green hue  :(

Hi, I was wondering how much of an impact 200% star systems generated has on game sessions. Will it chug within an hour of play?


it will increase the amount of ram used by a bit mostly, and may worse performance in hyperspace. It will also generaly just have a bit of a decrease as the game has to handle more fleets and so on.
If your PC isnt horrible it should be fine though, the warning is mostly there for people that are on weaker machines.

Thank you for the very fast reply. My computer should handle it, but if one of these mods I use has a memory leak, then it don't matter what I do... :(

I have no idea what the abyss thing is but it's very intriguing. It looks like some sort of exploratory gauntlet you run through, is that correct? Super cool either way.

I was interested in this mod, but seeing as I'm having memory leak problems as is with not even that many faction mods, I am reluctant to try this since it adds 3 whole factions!

I still don't know which of the currently installed mods is causing the leak, and I have no idea how to identify which one it is, save for playing for hours with and without mods, until I finally identify the problem.

That said, I'll probably still try it. The ships and weapons seem fun and they look nice despite some ships being reskins.

Hi, just wanted to say that I really enjoy this mod. Low-tech goodness and fun guns. But is the naming convention gaelic, irish or scottish? Or gaelic scottish? Something else? I'm not exactly well-versed in this topic but my irish friend did make me interested in such history and culture.

No worries. There are, uhm, quite a few weapons that are very similar-looking to existing stuff... for example, the Howitzer is just a Hellbore mirrored at the middle with slightly different colours.

I'm not saying they -have- to be changed, it's just an observation I made. I've tried making weapons myself and it's really hard. I'm bad at spriting. So I don't blame you. Like before, I hope you don't take offense. The ships are cool, at least.

I attached an image of the first weapon I ever made, and it looks really bad. Just to show you what I mean, haha. Spriting is hard...

Excuse me, but what is wrong with this Wrecker weapon? Not only does it look identical to the HVD but darkened, it makes no sound whatsoever.
Hello there, I made so many weapons in CFT that they sort of blended after a bit and had to stop myself when I realized how many I added :) I looked over the Wrecker and compared it to the HVD and it does resemble it, I had not realized that before. Pieces and parts I used were from vanilla weapons and I guess I just unintentailly matched up the base and barrel and oopsie. As far as the sound, I have it set to make the sound of the Devastator and my guess is if it is no longer working then the sound file I have it linked to most likely changed in the .96a update.

Thank you for letting me know, I'll remake the graphic and verify that there is a sound in the next update. I guess I should check all of them while I am at it.

I hope I didn't come across as hostile, it just seemed a little odd, like a placeholder. I don't want to stifle anyone's creativity. I like the mod otherwise!
