alright so because i say anything im giong to admit it right now. im a idiot when it comes to modding, even when it seems simple to others it's complex to me. now the problem im currently running into is when i move a mod into the mod folder for starsector it doesnt recognize that it's there. all i do is download the mod, copy the mod from my downloads folder and past it into the mods folder for starsector. what steps am i missing? i know it tells me to unzip the folder into the mods directory, but i dont even know what that is and there is no option for me to unzip it.

could anyone please help a moron out?

i got starfarer a few days ago and i have fallen inlove with it. ive played all the mission and have completed most (some i had to play over and over again) and i was just wondering if anyone knew when there would be a new patch or update of the game. a rough date or somthing would suffice. thanks ^^
