you cannot become neutral with remnants... Signing up for a commission does not increase your reputation with the faction's allies.

So that is probably only a nexerelin thing then or something?

I screwed myself out of the Sindrian Diktat reward by stealing their fuel core before I even had colonies. Now the crisis won't start with them :(

I think we should wait and see what it's like before we ask Alex to change everything again because we think the new features have issues.
I think throwing (harsh?) opinions around before trying the new features isn't helping anyone because the way it feels to read it in a blogpost is probably different to how it is to actually play.

Just my 2 cents.  :)

I get this. I have an item in my stash that would give 50% +- more income.
Not sure what it's called.

Edit: nvm just reread your comment and I misunderstood.
I suppose I could change the settings but that would feel a little like cheating I guess?
Is there a reason this is off by default Alex?

Suggestions / Installing items away from colony

I'd like to be able to install an item on a colony without having to be present in person provided the colony stash has the relevant item in it.
I often put colony items in the stash on the colony's I intend to install them in but I'm always slightly peeved I can't order my colony workers to install the thing without having to oversee it personally.

This rewards planning ahead and prevents having to go all the way back to your colony just to install one or two items.

(Note: I'm not suggesting items in your fleet can be installed on your colony's without being present. Just the ones being placed in stashes on your planets.)

Thoughts?

Increasing weapon range to infinite would also require a major overhaul for the AI.

Wouldn't be lore friendly if the luddic path started using paragon's now would it?
Pirates would use anything they could get their hands on but the luddic path is full on technophobic and stuff.

Pressing continue just creates a loop.
I have my Ziggurat stored on my planet elsewhere and not in my fleet so I'm not sure if that's what has caused this.

I usually set it to max. (sometimes I cheat a bit by setting it to the lowest possible to stomp a fight with my capital)

I think it's set to 300 because that's just a balanced point. Too high might be too heavy on low end machines. Too low and it's easy for players and not as exciting.
