Time consuming features is what is holding up the realise i think that said he wants to make em perfect to make it playable so we go back to waiting for perfection which is fine also dwarf fortress is out so a few more weeks is fine by me

Hold put until 0.5 is out and then we can give our collective updated viewpoints
Side note dwarf fortress ( its freeware btw) so no competition with aurora and its a sim rpg thing is due an upgrade soon to ( maybe some of the rpg adventure mode might give alex some food for thought for this game to)

Floating heads with implants interfacing with the main ships computer via a neuronet interface. Perhaps a hive like race could take advantage of such a technology

some games companies do a weekly realise others have a more conservative and wait and see and go for more timed outputs

a lot of later missions will be random proceduaral generation so u go into each one maybe with a general idea of what to expect but each encounter ( perhaps scouting could improve things) but with a random outcome and lots of options to get it done or to loose it
