Hey, Mac user here, my game crashes every time i come into contact ( simulations/combat ) with the neutrino factions ships. This could be a weapons thing with the grpahicslib and the fact that im a mac user but i've checked that i've downloaded all the libs needed. When the game crashes it comes up with this message.
Fatal: com/fs/starfarer/combat/systems/H
Cause: com.fs.starfarer.combat.systems.H
Check.starsector.log for more info.

I feel like something has flown right over my head but I cant seem to see it.
I really love the art style and the design of the ships and would love to keep playing with them.
Any tips with fixing the problem?

Note: On Mac OS, only step 4 is necessary because Starsector will already use 64-bit Java, as far as I know.

Step 4: In the vmparams file, replace the text "-Xms1024m -Xmx1024m" with the memory you want to allocate to Starsector. The first number is initial allocation and the second number sets the amount it's allowed to grow to when the game needs it.  For example, "-Xms2048m -Xmx4096m" starts the game with 2 GB of memory and allows the allocation to grow to 4 GB later down the line.

Cant seem to find the vmparams file.

So i've modded my starsector quite a bit with a list of :

I've attempted to edit the starsector.command file so it has 3-6 Gb :

Also underneath the starsector icon that I click to startup the game says Out of Space in grey so
is the problem with the specs of my computer or have i done something wrong?


(Game crashes after about 1 hour in after 2 or 3 saves)

I've been interested in starsector for quite some time. I've always wanted to contribute somehow but I have no clue how to even start modding or how to design ships/weapons.

Any tips?

Ah well.... Let's hope some mega nerd creates a multiplayer mod. My dreams shall not be crushed!

Am I the only one who really wonders if I'll ever be able to battle my friends in either an mmo version of star sector or some kind of lan? I know it might be quite a stretch but can we please try to make it happen???

By how much did you increased the memory allocation? With that many mods, I think you'll need at least 4GB.

How many Xms would I need for 4GB?
(Im new so I dont know that much yet)

Ok. my game keeps crashing after or while saving. I have 25 mods loaded, everything is up to date and working but after about 20 or more minutes in I try saving and BAM it crashes, I have made the Xms to 1024 and beyond for both in the package contents and still no fix.

anyone know any tricks to try and fix my dilemma?   ??? ??? ???

is there a way of installing this or using this on a mac?
all the other mods that work are folders but when i download this it just comes up with a page.
i cant find a way to make it work, constant crashes
eg. Blackrockdrive is a blue folder with data and stuff inside it while graphicslib is a page and when opened with console it comes up with an alien language

u know all the upgrades for you ship like advanced lenses or waterer would it be cool if u could actually see the difference in your ship picture?
