Not sure if you are asking about my mod but a lot of hullmod code is in the compressed "starsector.api", path "com\fs\starfarer\api\impl\hullmods", file in the starsector-core folder.

Puts a hangar somewhere on vanilla ships when using the converted hangar hullmod.

Safe to install and uninstall.
Incompatible any mods that directly modify converted hangar.
Credits to sikair for help spriting hangars

For modders, to add a hangar version of your ship create a reference to the alternate sprite in the config named the ship id ending with "_rch".

Lemme know if anything breaks or if ships are missing! I am most active in USC or Corvus.

Would it be possible to add some real descriptions to your hullmods, with actual numerical values and such? I have no idea what most of them are supposed to be doing, no offence.

Yeah I've been very lazy about that but I'm getting to it now, next update should have proper descriptions for all hullmods.

Important bug report: The "Bast" frigate with the integrated thermal blaster has an inaccurate hitbox. Projectiles and lasers will go right "over" it without dealing any damage 95% of the time. Funny side effect of this, I can almost fly through enemy ships and their shields. Missiles do seem to damage it thanks to AOE. The Bast (P) variant with the Thumper seems to be working properly.

Also not necessarily a bug, but it would be nice to get even a small description for either of them. WhichMod can't append its indicator when there's nothing to append it to. Love the mod otherwise, neat designs that really set themselves apart. I like putting some plasma streamers in the large energy slots and plowing through fleets and spitting fire like a dragon.

Thanks for the feedback, I think I fixed the Bast issue, it was missing the collision box and it's uploaded. As for WhichMod I am not entirely sure how it works but I'll look into it for the next content update.

The pack requires lazylib but the error seems to imply a ship sprite is missing. Haven't encountered it before in a released version but try the new version and see if it works.

I get the 'dictator bad at ship design' schtik and I think having it represented in hullmods is a good impementation, dictator says more armor -> more armor but with some negatives as well, it shouldn't be all negative, Andrada is supposed to be a competent commander so he should know what is good for a ship to have even if its impementation causes more problems than benefits.
The main issue I have is that the 'elite of the elite' lions guard are the only ones with the special hullmod and they're not any better than their default counter part. Just the fact that they have more resourses behind them should result in some better performance, I don't buy that mr dictator micromanaged every last detail making any extra resources in their construction mute.
Tbh I'd like to see a 'sindrian overhaul' given to all ships in sindria, representing imposed changes by andrada giving some bonus and negatives and for the lions guard to have a "lions guard" built-in hullmod with better stats due to more resources and/or the more skilled crew in addition to the 'sindrian overhaul' and more energy mounts than practical since andrada really wants to play high tech.

Sample of other features:
-Dakka Dispenser, shotgun that can fire ANY projectile in the game
-Heavy Flamer
-ERA hullmod to make enemies pay for breaking your armour.
-Martyr Pilots, turn any fighter into a human guided missile.
-The Moth phase 'carrier', heavily armoured phase ship using gremlin level phase tech.
-The Redentor capital ship, large low tech capital ship with great firepower.
-The Boring drone, heavy duty mining drone that can cut through any asteroid.
-Shatterer Artillery, fire shells arcing into the z-axis, also has a neat crosshair.
-Redstone Torpedo, activate the systems of hit ships or fry their ships
-Shield Projector, weapon slot mounted shield generator
