This is kind of simple and if I play a couple more hours, I'll probably figure it out, but after going through the tutorials for fleet command one screen says "do this" and I hit next and forgot what button to hit and couldn't left-arrow backward. Ultimately, this ended up with me sometimes struggling early in the command map after combat, I'd be trying to just let my ships sit in space to refit however even hitting space bar and stuff a few times, I couldn't get them to just sit and wait until repaired for a while..? Is there a way to do this or do I need to keep moving like a shark?
I ended up figuring out how to left-click move them to a system and they began to refit themselves on the way, but it felt a bit odd that it took me so long thinking "you know what? maybe sitting here quietly and refitting without moving is a good idea". In that same section of my first game, I also accidentally flew too far to the closest system, through an asteroid belt just stumbling around on my own, and then the tutorial popped up just in time to say "hey here's how to burn extra speed but slow down in asteroid belts" and I wasn't sure if I'd taken any damage.
At least it still popped up a warning about the asteroid belt damage to make sure I learned to warn me to "turn on comms when I came close to a populated area," (to summarize) but it felt like I got close to a port and then bang, it starts talking about the asteroids I already passed through and caught me up as a trigger because I'd managed to miss some small but maybe critical thing about refitting before flying into an asteroid belt at high speed.
Since I was forced to play the tutorial for my first game (no biggy) I was a little surprised this occurred because I read everything but missed a couple small things somehow, felt like minor scripting glitches or oversights.
