I have a 32-bit OS and 2 GBs of RAM and I tried the options but they didn't work, thanks for the help tho.
Hey there, I'm asking here because I have a similar problem, with my game shutting down when I try the Derelict empire and with the same null error crash. This is my log file:

Hello Nia, I've got a question! So I noticed these Blackwatch fleets roaming the Infernalis region. I've had the pleasure to fight both alongside and against them and I really want to get my hands on their ships, but I couldn't find their HQ or their ships on the market. Please help?

More Blade Breakery is… I’m not going to say ‘no’ but the Janky Space Jerks have a very set role in my plans and already have a way bigger roster than they strictly need.
Ah right, heh.

Well since we are talking about Blade Breakers, I actually have a few questions about them...so I know that there is a certain system within the core area where a hidden BB base is. Are there any more of those hidden? Also, where do I find the aforementioned Deserters?

I mean, if you want me to only share the actively-developed mod with my friends and have a public version that only gets compatibility updates, I can live with that. Seems ideal for me personally.

What does everyone else think? Is Corelious right - should I stop updating the public version of DME?
Noooo please nooo. I love this mod, I especially love the Blade Breakers and I want to have moreee of them.

Hey there! I just wanted to report that Plasma storm, the Mythic weapon, refuses to fire at all. I¨ve tried both clicking and holding then releasing, but nothing seems to work. Am I doing something wrong or is the weapon actually bugged?

Hey there, got a question regarding this lovely mod. So I managed to find this system MESS. I managed to destroy [REDACTED] and gain Nanite Mass from it. Apparently scientists and people with similar mindset would love to get their hands on one, but the Galatia Academy doesn't seem to care. Is there any other way to use it or do I just sell it on the black market somewhere?

Sorry to bother again but the game is suddenly getting very laggy. It started when I reached a planet which one faction was invading and the other one was defending it. Any idea what to do?
"AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six-Core Processor 3.40 GHz" are my PC stats, with 16GB installed RAM memory. I think that should be enough to handle the modded Starsector that I have, but it apparently isn't.

I mean, Diable is out of date. Newest is 2.64, you are on 2.63...
Yea updating all mods fixed the issue. Thanks for the help.

Out of curiosity, could you try to launch the game with only MagicLib, LazyLib and Diable Avionics enabled? I may have a suspicion on why.
I've been trying to do so for the whole time until the last attempt.
But now after I updated all the mods, the issue is gone completely.
It was a mistake on my part.

I meant, when extracting the mods from their archive, do you properly delete the old folder from Starsector/mods beforehand?
Yep I always do that

Do you properly delete mods before installing their newer versions? Do you only have one Starsector install or more?
I try to when I get access into the game and Nexerelin warns me. But I couldn't this time because of the error and only disabling Diable Avionics have helped.
Also I only have one Starsector.

MagicLib is on 0.42 version now. Yours is 0.34.

Your mods are VERY outdated, btw. Consider using ModManager. Nexerelin's version checker should scream about them as well.
Okay so I've ran a few tests. First, I disabled Diable Avionics and that finally allowed me to start the game without error. There are indeed quite a few outdated mods, but Diable Avionics doesn't seem to be among them.

MagicLib is on 0.42 version now. Yours is 0.34.
That's not possible. When I start the game and look at the mod list, it says that MagicLib is up to date. Since I updated the Lib mods today, its possible that I need to look deeper into the log to find the actual mod versions. I'll look into it.
