Ok so it's an incompatibility but I don't see (in part because you didn't show) in what ways it was hostile. Maybe the mods had conflicts in their code or modified the same vanilla file, so Originem put the incompat there to stop weird bugs.

Regardless, let's just say it indeed is hostile. Even then, if I were you I'd go ask Originem first about why it's there, and inform him that this info is missing on his mod pages. But I don't see you trying that at all. Now you just made a post accusing the entire team behind the forum, and Starsector the game. you said and I quote

And interestingly enough you had just quoted the Twitter post of Alex saying that Originem is a legitimate reseller of the game keys. I don't think being a reseller implies any relationship or affiliation, etc. For example, you can find tons of Steam keys resellers online. Are these related to steam? And being legitimate just means that he doesn't just take your money and run away, that you actually can get a key from him. Like I could go ahead and buy 100 Starsector keys and resell them now, and what does that have to do with the Devs? Not too sure why you have worded it like this.

A third point. By now you'll be tired of reading the wall of text so I promise this will be the last point. On the Chinese forum, Originem had indeed listed fairyempire as incompatible with his mods, on the Apporolight mod page. If anything, I think he forgot to, or just didn't think it was necessary to, list the same here, because fairyempire does not seem to have a relevant English version at all. Use the search bar and you'll find almost nothing past ~2016. The one post here, https://fractalsoftworks.com/forum/index.php?topic=6155.0, is for 0.54. You'll recall that UNGP, Valk, Approlight, and FOB are all, at their current stage, maintained by Chinese modders (Originem, that is), their new versions first released in Chinese, and then translated and reposted onto the Fractal Softworks Forum. A search on Nexus Mods gives total emptiness. Which means, whoever trying to get the English version here, likely will never even get to play fairyempire together with Apporolight for themselves. So why the warning? If I were Originem I'd have omitted that as well. Plus, you seem to be able to read Chinese just fine, so why did you not mention the Chinese Apporolight mod page at all?

While I was writing this reply, it seems Originem has already added the (useful to no none) imcompat warning to the English UNGP post. Why take the extra mile and post it like this, instead of sending him a DM?...

You say you don't want the question to be treated with malicious intent. But as it stands I can't help but think you are the malicious one, either towards Originem or towards the Forum or towards the Game.

A smol suggestion: use a slightly different color for installed hullmods. Currently, it is a bit tricky to tell which hullmods are already installed vs which are not. You can see in attached screenshot they have very similar colors.

What happens to the EUTC Conquest now that the astral gate questline is gone? To be honest, I really liked the concept and, the idea of having the... 'legacy of EUTC' in my fleet was very interesting too. Is there any chance that you somehow add it back? maybe as an ibb or some short quest reward  ;)

could u plz let me translate this great work into my language(I mean Chinese)? Many gamers wants to play ur masterpace vic mod, language shoudent be obstacle I think,of course we will Feedback any usefull ideals,XD.

Hi Astarat! I'm a player from the Chinese Starsector Community. I've recently played VIC (which is very well made!) and I would like to kindly ask you for permission to translate it into Chinese and post it on the Starsector Chinese Forum (link: https://www.fossic.org/), so that Chinese players who are having difficulties due to language barrier will be able to play VIC as well. I have quickly peeked into the files and I believe the process of translation should not take very long, but as a first-timer, I cannot give an exact date just yet. Of course, once it is done, you will be credited and there will be a link to your original mod page, etc. It's no big deal if you refuse - I understand that the author has the final say to their mod. Looking forward to your reply!
