Bug Reports & Support / Swiching key binding on mouse

So, i got, finally, fancy mouse with five! buttons on it ;D The two additional buttons on its left side, that you can easily press with thumb, i choose for venting (MOUSE3) and hold fire (MOUSE4). It's working but when exiting game (exit as exit in windows not mission or anything) and load it up again venting  become hold fire. Pressing MOUSE3 and MOUSE4 do same thing, hold fire. In CONTROLS tab it say venting (MOUSE3) but it's not. So when configure it again and going into testing it it works fine. Oh, not to forget, dont know if it's important but all my playing was in simulator.

     Yesterday I was trying out SCY ship (Keto class, carrier-4 wings) in simulator. I didn't play Starsector for a looong time, so basically I'm a newbie.

First issue:
     I wanted to send my fighters to attack but i couldn't do it. Looking around in CONTROLS tab only thing i could find is "Pull back fighters", but i didn't want to do that i wanted them to attack. So maybe that ORDERS: REGROUP will change if i have active target? Nope. Maybe if i hit active target? Nope. Maybe it doesn't change? Hitting U and letting auto-pilot did change it to ENGAGE. Sigh, so it can be changed  :-\ Ok, what if i hit Z and pull back fighters. Oookay that worked. :) What i expected to see under Controls tab is "Pull back fighters/engage", so i would know one key altering orders for fighters. I didn't play campaigning so don't know what tutorial teach us aka don't know if giving order to fighters is explained there.

Second issue:
     This SCY ship have one kinetic weapon with huge range (2000) and if you aiming target at it's maximum your ship wont be on screen (this is maybe because of my tiny 18" monitor with 1366x768 resolution). Oh, and, that weapon have "cast time", after clicking left mouse button you need to wait couple of seconds for it to actually fire. My ship is out of screen, Conquest is barraging me with rockets while i'm waiting for gun to fire and i have no idea if my shield is up. Some indicator somewhere, like, next to FLUX bar just word SHIELD when shield is on or in bottom left corner where we can see armor of our ship in middle of it we could have word SHIELD or little blue circle when shield is active. At other hand maybe this is just edge case scenario that manifest itself only in specific situation (extremely long rang in combination with tiny resolution).

Is there a program that would allow to bind key sequence on single mouse button?
So, when i click middle mouse button it would execute:  "R" then "3" then "F" then "Left mouse click" then "Q". After every key there would be 200ms delay or so, so it would need to have adjustable delay. Does anyone knows is there any program like that?

I did find AutoHotkey but couldn't figure out is it possible to make what i need in that program.

Im almost done with "Dark Space: The Original Trilogy",  read all books from James S.A. Corey's: The Expanse trilogy so i will be in dire need of moar sf books :D  Anyone got some recommendations for similar stuff?

Ok this is just part of log where error is. I installed 0.6.2a version then after you release RC3 i installed that too. Not clean install, just install it over previous one.
So i enable only one mod, Relics, where i changed only min and max crew for some ships that have 0. Started game just to check it out, hit one fleet to see if it's CR ready and window opened. There i could see enemy ships and everything was ok until i hovered over 3th or 4th enemy ship with cursor and then game crashed.
I checked all variants (i remembered fleet name so i found what is it ships composition) for that beam thingy and non of them got that weapon. I guess its weapon, sound like one to me. So?

Well... I'm finishing Battle Angel Alita - Last Order. And i need new fix of space - cyberpunk manga  ;D   

So, people, please can you recommend me something similar to Alita. Or something with spaceship fights in it. Thanks.

Bug Reports & Support / Assignment bug

In battle spend all your CP. Hit TAB and with 0 CP left-click on enemy ship that do not have assignment on him. Now you have that blueish [] on him.  Wait until your ships take any objective. Now you will have CP but assignment (for that enemy ship) will be still grayed out. You need to left-click on him again and now you can issue an assignment. It's not big bug but it is one still  :P

edit: Same goes for objectives, if you click on one while have 0 CP and you got CP's you need to click it again to be able to capture etc.

I stopped all repairs so i can manage to get to the station (it would eat my supply's in 8 days and station was far away, i have 3 ships to repair). When i docked with station i hit "line", : Repair your ships at station dockyards, and it sad to me that ships are repaired. But they weren't. So i go to fleet screen hit "resume repairs" and dock with station again and hit "Repair your ships at station dockyards", and the it repairs them.

Max out any skill, then hit right mouse button to reduce it's point for one. Two sound will mix up. Sound of "maxed out skill" (soft - dull one) and sound of "reducing/adding skill" (metal on metal). When you reduce skill for that first point and reduce it again then it's just second sound (metal on metal). This is only happening when you reduce skill points for maxed out skill and only for that first point that you reduced.

I notice there is no supply indicator while cruising on system map. Something like this:

23 - supply quantity
9 - number of days how long it will last
