Modding / Looking for specific mod.

Hi folks!

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, or is not allowed, if so please delete.

I recall having a mod that added a specific type of ship, and fort he life of me I can't recall the name of it.

What I DO recall is that the ship was a capital class, had hangar bays, was short but very wide, and the pirate variant had a Skull design in the middle of it.

I'm super sorry if this is too vague, but if anyone can recall this, or knows the mod in question, would you be so kid as to let me know?

General Discussion / Luddic Path cells: How does one find them?

This damn cell has been ravaging my colony for ages now, and there is no "intel" on their location. 


Is there some way to obtain the location of the Luddic Path base  Perhaps someone in a certain faction that can be paid for the location or something?

I've having a CTD issue and I'm not quite sure what's causing it. I'm hoping someone can help.

I've allocated 4gig to the game (been like that for a long time now)
I've turned off all the bells and whistles in GraphicsLib
I've set processMessagesWhileSavingOrLoading to false
I run it as an Admin,
I've tried it in compatibility mode with all options
My Graphics drivers are all up to date
Nothing has solved it, so far.

I've been away from the game for a little while, but returned recently, updated all of the out of date mods.


I know this isn't much help, but if anyone has some ideas of what I can do to fix it, or if any of those mods colliding might be a cause, I'd love to hear from you!

EDIT: The initial save when making a new character goes through fine, btw. But any kind of save after that causes the crash, be it F5, a save in options or a Save and quit. All CTD, except the save that happens when you've finished making a character and starting a new game.

I like to check the main page fairly frequently, in case a new piece has been added to the roadmap/archive. I looked today and it's completely blank now. I was wondering where it all went.

Modding / Mod request..I guess?

Ohai there! Um. I have a question, or more of a request, I suppose.

Is it possible to make a mod that stops showing fighters/bombers/interceptors in your little ship collection while you're travelling around sector space and inside sectors? 

I mean, wouldn't they be docked with their parent ship? Since they launch as soon as you enter battle, yet are already out when you're just travelling around.

I'd really appreciate it if it were possible to make a mod that removes the fighters/bombers from the little visual of your flight group. It'd look a whole lot less cluttered, too.

Sorry if that didn't make much sense. I'm not very good with wording what I want to say :/

Modding / Various mod issues. Help most certainly needed!

Okay, so I'm having (what appears to be several) issues with getting any kind of faction, ship, weapon, or total conversion mods to work at all. I have done what appears to be everything that all the mods ask for, but to no avail.

I have attached a picture of the error message that I get from trying to use Starsector+ as an example, in the hopes that somebody can possibly help me out with this. 

I really want to get these mods working, because I've seen a lot of them in action and they really to make the game a whole lot bigger.

(The radar mod works though.....yay?)

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!
