I stumbled upon a rather relaxing soundtrack for a mod of the binding of isaac (called remix mod) and it made me really in the mood for more music of that kind, only problem is that i have no idea what kind of genre it is or how to easily find more of it. So my question to you guys is: do any of you know more music that has a similar tune like this? I mostly mean the soft beats and overal relaxing pace. Here is the link to the song.

It seems that all the people in the forums here have a broad taste of music so i hope someone would know of something.  ;D

Lately i have been on some kind of desire to look for soundtracks of old games i played when I was young, and I came onto some real good classics. Though I probably don't have as a history with old games compared to most of you guys since i'm only 16 and spent most of my youth with rollercoaster tycoon 1. I think it would be fun if we share some of our old time classic soundtracks here, from any game, new or old.

over the course of being on this forum i have noticed a lot of people have supreme commander (and hopefully the expansion). the official game servers have went down but theres still an awsome fan driven lobby system that exists named forged alliance forever. i would love to play a few games of it with you guys and if we have enough players we can even maybe make a little tournament. is anyone interested in playing online or maybe even the new coop campaign you can play with forged alliance forever.

so ehh, about a month or so ago me and some people on the forum here tried out the terraria pumpkin moon event. it was really fun (despite REALLY laggy) and we ended up with all good loot. now terraria's christmas update is here and with it is a new event, the frost moon. and its even harder then the pumpkin moon it seems XD. so i would like to know if there are any people interested in trying to beat it? anyone can come, if you don't have good gear i can give you some.

Hey, i'm looking for a new videocard and my eyes currently are on the GTX 660ti (or maybe the 760ti when it's out). my price point is about 300 euros, a bit above or under is ok.

So my real question is: does anybody have any tips, maybe a better or/and cheaper videocard. or a good store to buy them (i live in Holland). i have done some research on nvidia cards but i haven't looked much at the amd ones. there could also be the problem that my motherboard can not run bigger videocards than i have now, but i don't really know much about that

here are my specs i think. i use a program called CPU-Z to see my computer information.

wanna soak up a few extra minutes? i recently found this game its pretty small and simple but its really fun to play for a couple of times. if youve played it, be sure to tell what your best score was. i will try to make a nice little leaderboard. the guy who will be on the top for more then half/a whole day will get a steam gift (definitely not a dota key  ::))

Suggestions / gunship mode ''toggle''

just something simple for lazy people like me and others. when you hold shift and a or d you enter a form where your ship aims and turns to where your cursor is pointing, i really like this way of moving with frontal designed ships and almost always use it. the problem is, when you do that it is not only annoying that you have to hold the shift key but its also annoying that you cant switch weapons becouse it then only toggles autofire (this isnt a major problem becouse you could just un shift for a sec but still).
all i ask is a simple toggle key that sets it on something like gunship mode so you dant have to hold shift all the time. (this could be really hard to add in i really have no idea)

anyone willing to coop red alert 3 with me, i mean the campaign ofcourse. i always wanted to coop that game becouse its one of the few online campaign RTS games. you can pick which faction we will play and we could always do another one if the other becomes boring (they shouldn't becouse some are pretty original and there arent too many.

Suggestions / cloaks. a new defensive system

so i was thinking about this idea while studying. (yes i know i should be studying instead of thinking about starsector)

note that these suggestions are only ideas and my only main suggestion is a cloaking system.
cloaks. a new defensive system like shields and phasing that plays in a totally different way then the others

How would it work?
when you are cloaked you would be invisible, so that would mean you are not visible to anything except for yourself and your allies. while you are cloaked or one of your allies is cloaked you would see yourself/him transparent (to show that you are cloaked). your enemies would see nothing. while you're cloaked you will gain a flux upkeep similar to the upkeep of phasing, maybe higher maybe lower. also your auto firing weapons will hold fire while cloaked, only they can shoot if you want them to (by pressing the hold fire key).
while cloaked you can not be seen by the enemy therefor the AI will not be able to identify you and will not try and shoot you if it didnt notice you cloaking. if the AI does notice you it will fire a few shots at your last known position and frigates,fighters and maybe even destroyers will actively try and find you. if the AI did not notice you cloak it will ignore you and will persue other non cloaked ships. if the AI is cloaked it will search for an enemy ships weak spots and will ambush from there (probably the engines). you will uncloak when: your flux maxes out (you wil also overload then), when you touch something with your hull, when you get hit by a weapon, when you uncloak (duhh  :P) and when you fire your weapons. when you fire your weapons while cloaked the first shot will cost double the flux (or maybe even more) and will maybe do bonus ambush damage.

this could also work really interesting with the combat readiness system. if your combat readiness is lets say, lower than 50% you would get small malfunctions. these malfunctions would be small parts of your hull that get revealed, when the enemy AI sees them he will fire at the part where the malfunction happened. this would be interesting for the player becouse it will make him search for malfunctions or if the player is the cloak ship will be much more carefull then when he is at higher combat readiness.

i hope this is enough information for this suggestion, if there are any points i missed please tell and i will add them

Suggestions / custom shield shapes

ive seen a lot of mod ships that are really long, those ships look good but always have one problem. shields...
the shields are always too big for the ship since they have to be round and need to cross both the top and the bottom. so my suggestion is. custom shapes for shields. i am no modder myself but i know this could benefit a lot of modders and can bring new ideas to the table. by shape i mostly mean changing round to oval but there could be other shapes (squares!?) with omni shields this could be kind of weird but i think that would work fine too.
also i was thinking of personal shields (only touch the hull) as a new shield variant but i think shield shapes would be more useful and balanced.

Modding / ship size limit

i don't know if this belongs to modding because it isnt really a modding problem or whatever.

so i like big ships. especially fighting big ships. but theres one thing... all the big ships in vannilla or in almost any mod aren't really that big (compared to an ounslaught). this makes me wonder. how large ships does the game support? is it like 10 ounslaughts big or just 2 or whatever and if it is really large, then why aren't modders making huge ass flagships? (by huge ass i really mean huge so almost max). anyway i am no modder myself so can't really find an awnser by testing. a comparision with the ounslaught in block form and the max ship size would be helpfull, but that is up to you.

General Discussion / Convert button

So when you click on the modify ship menu you get an convert button under the strip button (i think its under there). So does anyone have an idea what this is?
