Bug Reports & Support / Game is blurry to the point of being unplayable on my laptop

Hi gang. I'm using a laptop at the moment and have encountered this weird problem. It's not a gaming laptop by any means:

Intel Core I3 something or other
Intel HD3000 graphics card (boo)
4 gigs of RAM
Windows 7 home.

Any ideas what's doing this? Is the graphics card just too ***?

General Discussion / What am I doing wrong?

I've been drinking for about 12 hours now and I just can't win at Starfarer. I overwhelm their shields with the laser weapons, then try and shoot with the faster firing armour damager weapons, but they always outmanoeuvre me. My tactics of 'turn the shields on and go forwards' don't seem to work. What am I doing wrong?

I gave it a go last night and seem to remember knocking my beer over whilst cheering loudly, but what's the campaign going to be like? And will it be more mothership focused (i.e. The Nexus Incident) or more squad-based? I much prefer being selfish and just driving my ship about whilst shooting everyone than fussing over hundreds of little ships. I'm sure this is in a wiki somewhere but I'm a bit hungover.
