If you have a negative faction rating, I think it would be nice to know what the bounty on your head is :D

Kind of tired of deep hyperspace and storms being static.
Shouldn't they move around a little bit?
It would make travel a little more interesting rather than navigating the same routes again and again.

On a related note, is there an intelligent autopilot feature I'm missing?
Can you record a particular path around storms and then replay?

It's not immediately clear if some buttons are selected, and the issue really stands out on the "Use Stockpiles During Shortages" button as the contrast is between dark blue or dark grey. I really need a better visual effect or more contrast to tell if the button is selected or not.

It might be nice to enhance the "exploring" part of StarSector by having shrouded or "fog of war" on the outside of the big map.
Never know what you might uncover way out there on the fringes!

Suggestions / QOL: Use Stockpiles During Shortages ON by default

I think a quality of life improvement would be stockpiles being used during shortages should be ON by default.
Honestly, I think it's odd that you would ever want to turn it off.

I accidently removed the entire opposing force from my ship when I was doing testing, simulation went forward anyway.
Not sure why you would ever want this scenario to occur.
Might be a easy quality of life improvement to prevent a simulation from starting with no opponents.

Techmining tool tip pop-up says "These ruins are largely untapped" even when there are no ruins on the planet.

I have the field repairs perk, didn't seem to work correctly on this Colossus.
It still has description for d-mod and the (D) in the title despite being "fixed" - there are no negative items in the shipmods descriptions.
See attached - oh wait - The maximum attachment size allowed is 192 KB :(

I know from reading the "frequently requested" thread that graphics are going to take a back seat to mechanics and balancing, but when I read "lightning arcs across the planet's skies - a sublime beauty from orbit..." I think it would be nice to see some better effects.

I mean, they look gorgeous and even slowly turn - but lightning would really put extreme weather planets over the top!

I have a very annoying pather base which my 2 fledgling colonies and small fleet can't take out.
It would be nice if I could set a bounty on it and hopefully have some other faction take care of it!
