Hello there,

this mod was a long time request of a good friend of mine.
It basically adds two new ships to all the vanilla factions called the Doom 2.0 and Hammerhead 2.0, which are two reverted or "unnerfed" versions of their former self.

The Doom is now moving at full speed again while in Phasecloak and the Hammerhead got it's old firing arcs and stats back.
I added these two as their own ships so they exist alongside the vanilla ones and I have altered their Sprite to be visually distinguishable.
Another request from said friend was to add the Albanians to the sector which I kinda did as I altered their sprite in both making them red and adding the Albanian Eagle on them.

Hello there,

I'm getting this nasty NullPointerException when engaging either a starbase or a cylon fleet(not sure if it's really them but it's always happening when fighting a starbase e.g the one above Jangala). I couldn't track it down any further yet, it happens when I have got only my mod active or in combination with any other mod(Nex, radar, console commands and some others).

It's not happening when fighting in simulations or missions, those are working perfectly fine as much as I was able to test it so the basic ship systems SHOULD work. It's only crashing during campaign map fights.

Hello there,
after TysonMcnuggets partially revived the original, discontinued BSG mod by Spiketail118 I decided to update the rest of the ships and make them spawn in normal faction fleets and markets.
After some work I managed to create the two factions and give them a small home system on the map. The Zanus and the Helios Alpha system were created!
I added some civilian ships and reworked several sprites.

Thanks to the images of unusualsuspex on Deviantart, his work over there is truly amazing and without his artworks many ships would still look at little more out of place ^^


Current features:
  • Several missions, two of which created by TysonMcnuggets as I used his mod as a basis for this one.
  • The Cylons and the Colonies are present on the campaign map, the Colonies inhabit the Helios Alpha and the Cylons inhabit the Zanus system!
  • Several, playable Battlestars, Basestars, support ships as well as Vipers, Raiders and Raptors and a few civilian ships!
  • All ships are integrated into the campaign, meaning they're buyable in markets and can be found in patrolling fleets.
  • Authentic BSG weaponry, including Battlestar Artillery, Cylon missiles and the iconic Dual Point Defense Flak!
  • Nexerelin and Version Checker compatibility

Planned features/WIP stuff:
  • General Balancing, this is an ongoing process and will always be on this list :x
  • Polishing
