What type of ships can you use the abomination interface hull mod on and what does building it into the hull actually do?

basically any ships that cant use AI integration like others added by mods and such. lets you pick one of the remnant/emergent hullmods. you can only have one ship with it at a time, unless you smod it in to build it in which lets you pick an additional one (and so on). very much worth it.

Probable bug - was able to recover a second Nian from the Luna Sea by salvaging the battles debris field after recovering the one that spawns as a derelict after the fight.

Maybe I'm just lucky but I'm finding a fair amount of SC Omega weapons while scavenging derelict stations using this mod, unsure if intended or not.

I started a new run with 0.97, AOTD (all of it) and nex, RAT, stardust ventures and a bunch of QOL mods (so no new factions other than exo)
and the game ended with hegemony conquest victory in 209 (they started with annexing sindria - the planet pretty much out the gate) not sure if this is normal? (I've only been playing with nex+qol stuff up to this point and AOTD is the only big new mod I've added and heg never steamrolled this hard or fast but I also decided not to actively fight them this time cause I wanted to play with the stardust venture stuff + explore for AOTD stuff.

That sounds completely like a Nex issue. Factions don't start even sending expeditions out until 210 by default I'm pretty sure.

I suspected this would be the case - there's a change in vanilla code that breaks Dustkeeper fleet generation code.


A quick status update on the mod now that the new Starsector version is out - Secrets of the Frontier had a half-finished update which I'll be working to get out soon as I can. The update should hopefully include a chunk of new Dustkeeper content (new encounters, capital ships, and anti-atrocity mechanics), a partial rework of Cyberwarfare Protocols, a few changes/additions to the guilt system and a pass over Sierra's personality and writing.

Looking forward too it, those other instance chips in the items list have been taunting me for a while now. Your mod's been a staple of all my runs.

Did a manual version update to 0.97, getting a crash from the barrow cryosleeper immediately upon interacting with it, other vanilla cryosleepers are unaffected.

I tried searching but i wasnt able to see if this has been reported or it is known but with the newest updated for VoK 0.2.1.a  Lost Glory does not recognize that it exists and says that it needs VoK to run. Also by chance do you have a discord for Ashes of the Domain?  Thank you!

dont use lost glory if you're using the alpha.

Good day Kaysaar.
First, thanks a lot for this amazing mod, there's a lot of work being put here and the effort is palpable. Having a lot of fun wih your mods and waiting to see how far they go.  ;D ;D

I'm having my game crash at the same point, when a colony finishes building the cryptosleep facility after moving the sleeper to the desired planet. It crashes on the same day even if I stop the construction order before it's done. Truth to be told I don't know if the issue is caused by your mod, but since the issue started appearing when I engaged with the sleeper, though it might be related.

Might be related to Industrial Evolution and/or Grand colonies, but the planet in question has the vanilla govern type and isn't over max building capacity yet.

Check your other planets, I'm pretty sure that's a crash due to you trying to change the type to "Monastic Order" from industrial evolution.
I've had crashes with that and I'd highly recommend to just use vanilla governing types everywhere.

Found a particularly odd bug (or feature perhaps?) with the aged R&D facilities, they will sometimes be orbiting blue giants at an excessively high rate of speed. It is possible to interact and "catch" them still, but tricky due to them moving at about 30 burn. Looting them after defeating the guardians will make them "normal" again, though the debris field from the battle will continue the orbit.
