how to edit the STARSHIP_LEGENDS_OPTIONS.ini to make Loyalty would not lose when ship taken damage, or even grow loyalty when taken damage.

many ships are born as a Tank and many battle are really cruel.  taken damage are hardly to avoid.  So I want to change it.

just this one, and I have marked what I think it should be.

the option text have cross the border in truth, but most time we need to scroll it down to check the full fleet info, and most time the option text won't be long enough to need over one half screen width.
it's a choice that make text to show in 2 lines.  But we have so many space in the window that we could adjust it, just like move option text right.

question about SRAB Heavy Emitter--------------would it be effect by missile buff just like ECCM Package and skill "Missile Specialization" to increase  speed/HP/damage? 
it seems to be both missile and projectle that I don't know what buff it could get.


opinion
A.Is it worthy to add a new captialship that have heavier armor/firepower but slower than Maelstrom? just like Daze comparedto Haze.
Diable Avionics keep having two types ships on frigate/destoryer/cruiser, one heavier and another faster but captial have only one type,  maybe it's a missing?

Ship shape would be like Daze, flat and wide. It would have have 2 Micro Missile Array but no Fighter Bay, maybe more weapon slots. That's my thought

B.Is it worthy to rebalance micro missile?  I think there are 2 problem.
1. small slot micro missile have no use. there are all types of micro missle

small slot have much fewer burst size and much longer reload time so that I think it's unbalanced, and it's still weak eventhough compared it to other small slot missile because most they have more damge or brust size.
I think brust size is worthy adjusted just like 3/9/20. and reload time of small slot need to be reduced.

2.M/L slots micro missile are too rare to widly use. Is it worthy to add equipments version M/L slots micro missile?
micro missles would show true power when it have enough scale but only few ships have M/L slots micro missles----------Daze/Storm/Pocket Gust/Maelstrom/Pandemonium.  And we can't even use the free M/L missile slots to get more micro missile sothat it's not widely used. it would be fine if we have equipments version  micro missile.

I feel that there are too many pirate bounty that only use pirate ships eventhough  you have used many Faction Mods.

there are also some pirate bounty that betrayal from some faction and use the faction ships, these are good but betrayal bounty are too rare.
the only way to increase  faction bounty is decrease their attitude to you.

so I think increase the betrayal bounty is necessary especially we can't keep hide to attack other faction ships.

Ok, I  understand what you think and accept it.

But I don't think this hullmod is barely noticeable that it could give up to increase 100%  accuracy and speed, even in short time it could also give around 35% buff.
this buff could make heavy autocannon similar accurate as heavy needler, so I think it's useful enough.

I just found that Advanced Avionics hullmod have been removed and I'm confused now.
This mod called  "Diable Avionics" and it have no Avionics now, it's not a good joke.

We know you usually nerf this mod for balance and it's a good thing, but this time it's not a balance  but a feature  problem. I don't think lose feature is a good thing.

So I want to know why you want to remove it?  it's really too op? or you plan to remake it?

I may have found the way to avoid problem,Diable Avionics  would refresh person bounty when I remove Polaris_Prime.
This problem may be more complex but it's enough that I could solve it by only remove one mod.


By the way, do you have plan to create some new bigger carriers that have not fewer than 4 flight deck?
wanzers are good design and interesting to play but lack of good platform.   most of ship have only 2 decks and the only one have 3 decks are  dreadnought, can't put too much.

some problem mainly about Pandemonium dreadnought
1.I have never see any person bounty of  Diable Avionics  from 0.9. 
Do someone have same problem? I don't know whether it's unusual.

2.now it's too hard to get a Pandemonium Blueprint especially you also use Nexerelin MOD that would reduce the effect of ransacked space station, and I never find a  Pandemonium Blueprint  by exploring  eventhouhg I have almost get all other blueprint. 
and I also never see any  Fleet have Pandemonium except the IBB bounty
so are there some problem on my mod? or it's just normal?

there are my MOD list, could you find someone are conflicting?


By the way  I think your blueprint pack need a tidy.
Maelstrom should add to the ship pack , not a single blueprint because it's a common ship and player are too hard to get a capital ship
And Uhlan Siege Laser both show on single and weapon pack blueprint, it's redundant

my problem is on Diable Avionics and  Shadowyards, I remember they still give Person  bounties before I update 0.91 of Starsector. And maybe after it I never see their person bounties.
eventhough I change the minPersonBounties to 10 and I still can't find their person bounties

my mod all update to newest and I don't know where is wrong. these MOD have some problem to lose private bonus? or game not Compatible well with these mod?

so do you have the similar problem?

main problem about legal and copyright.

EVE is the famous spaceship game and I really want that we could use these on starsector. But there is no mod about it so far. And in fact, there are no mod just imitate other games' ships or weapon.
So are there some rules that let players only could make original mod? or just people don't want to do it?

General Discussion / how to increase the scale of AI fleet?

I have found something in setting.json could change maxShipsInAIFleet,  but it's just max, not current AI fleet's ship number.
just like the biggest bounty fleets  always contain around 20---30 ships whether its max ships are 30 or 300.

so................ are there other things that could change directly AI fleet's scale?

I hope this mod would add a main carrier which have around 6 decks.

robot plane  are  one of the biggest feature of this MOD, but no ship is mainly use planes to battle is a regret.

Did you try the changing the processMessagesWhileSavingOrLoading setting?

I changed it and feel it reduce chance to crash.
But only reinstall  driver is the  way to stop crash again

I think I might have solved this problem.

I reinstall driver to 372.90 and never cause crash,   although there have less chance to cause a new problem------------------ the screen would stop  when save before progress bar show and sound is still going on.I restart game and find this save is successful.


BTW, I try to disable sound to reduce cost to avoid crash but nothing changed . So I think it's more possible that the main problem is on the graphics card's version

Could you try setting "processMessagesWhileSavingOrLoading" in data/config/settings.json to false? That may help.

It does look like a crash in the graphics driver, yes,. but whether it would go away with a different version of the driver is not guaranteed. How often does the crash happen, btw?

it's subtle.
it almost still crash in somewhere and hardly to crash in somewhere.  maybe something cause the crash?
If I save in A then go to B to save again to crash,  the solution is load to A and move to a other place  C to save , then go to B to save. this way is not always stable  but could sucess finally

BTW, could you answer it about what is going on when  Starsector start to save before the progress bar show?
