Glad the reinstall helped. It looks like it was probably a permissions issue, with the game not being able to write data to the folder the saves etc were in. That'd explain both the empty log and the error saving.


It was install into C:/.../Starsector.65.1


Everything, what is install on C:/ need permisson/ Adminright. ( Yea, a hell, when i start my computer...) It starts only with Adminrights.





Or, what is more possible:
I have delete the save folder, start the game, create new character, have this. then, re-create the save-folder, and start again, create again new character, have this. (But this don't tell me why the log is empty...)




Now, it's install on another device, have no problem with it.

After Playing veeryy veeeryyy much .62a, i have take another look in .65a, this time, everthing new ( mods was 30 min ago dl and installt,) started SS, take the randommission with the boss's, and after 10 min or so i got this crashed, have searched a similiar or the same error as i have, but nothing found. Or can you see mod-non-campatible here, what i cant see?

Gained this after create a new character and finishing to load the economy. It happen with and without mod. May be re-install Starsector can solve this? Oh, and i have look in the log, it's empty....

Thank you, downloaded 0.66b and two more mods for 0.6.2 i did not have.

Just spend ~2 hours making them work (mostly - waiting game loading to crash, with a lot of mods load time of more than 10 min seems to be normal for SS). May PM angrytigerp later to ask if he is interested in version of 0.66b (and of the other 2) with all typos that prevent game from loading fixed. Will wait until i check for other, gamebreaking typhos (like variant names, etc) that appear only ingame however.

Java updatet to newest version?
Give VMPfile enough space (when available and possible)?

Hey, I have a question. When I type Spawnfleet, it asks for the fleet ID, so I'd type something like
Spawnfleet hegemony patrol but it says a "patrol fleet" doesn't exist, so what exactly is the game asking for when it says Fleet ID? Thanks!



An ID that is found in the Faction file.

I have now some trouble that is my fault, because i have made some changes ( only for me 8) ), of course for the newest .65a
What i have changed:

--> The Scy faction is now a missle-faction only.
----> To prevent they're get out of missles, they have now a system, that refills some missles in a period of time..
--> writing some customfleet ( Lightfleets, normalfleet, largefleet, battlefleets, aaaand Battle-Conquest-Fleets..)
---> My problem with the custom fleets are, that they have only 10%CR

I think I remember this one... I believe the Euryale did nothing by that time (and was buggy as you can see), that's why it never spawned in the AI hands. I won't support an older version of the mod, especially when you just need to never use that ship. If you want to deal with that yourself to be sure, you can remove the ship-system in the ship_data.csv.

Ok, no support for older version, noted. I don't've hoped, that older versions are supported, but it's worth a try.

Found this. From the command-cruiser? Was there a fix that I miss? Or is that a new one? How i said, not for .65a, but 0.62a RC3.

Nope. So far as i know, not even the Vanillagame is supporting to piloting a fighter.
And this mod have it too, no support for "Piloting-a-Fighter". But maybe, the autor will make this true, but so far as i know, it is very heavy to make this happen.

But, let the mod-opener speak, i think, he will know more than i. ;)
