So, system-wide bonus-giving structures are not defended and our patrols don't recapture them?
I do not know.  Remnant fleet captured my relay one time.  I do not remember if I recaptured it or one of my small patrols did.
One of patrols did recapture it after some time.

On Windows the console takes a while to appear and I often have to Alt-Tab to it when it does pop up..

It's mentioned in the very first post.
I had never run this game other way than windowed. The console worked in battles few years ago, but not this year.

It's funny that ctrl+backspace combination doesn't work for opening console in the battle and it isn't mentioned anywhere and by anyone. You should put working hotkey for that in the first post.

Suggestions / Operating time limit halves battle gameplay experience

In the time the game got operating time limit for ships we lost in gameplay diversity. Now the only goal in the game is to get a fleet of the biggest ships. The bigger they are the less damage you will suffer from the battles.

Battle gameplay could be multiplied by 2 if we get the ability to destroy fleets of any size in some fellow Hyperion again  ;D
It is no better than having fleet but it is +1 choice.

Yeah it would be great and also just logical to have some way to browse your stored items across whole sector.

I don't have _JAVA_OPTIONS or JAVA_OPTIONS variables set so i'll try first variant.

When trying to start it nothing happens. I can't even find some hanged game process or related in process explorer. What's wrong with it?
Played previous versions of this game alot in the past on the same pc and never had any trouble. I see that others report so much problems that it is impossible to figure something out without tons of work and time.
Windows 7 64-bit

There was a time when boarding was the main way to obtain a ship. That's surely was crippled. But now boarding option is just useless and marines in your crew and so these Mercury shuttles, you prepared just for boarding tasks are dead weight  :P

In my version factions do not do anything till i arrive in the system. Also i have to babysit them later because they dissappear when I leave ;D
