The mod is save-compatible.
Have you had that moments during exploration "Damn, I need to come back to this place later.", but never had the tools to mark the location in-game? Well, this mod is supposed to fix that 
Features:
- Adds a new ability "Create Bookmark". Just assign it to ability bar
- To create a bookmark, just press use the ability while in-system. You can not create bookmarks for hyperspace locations (at least currently).
Your bookmark will now appear in the Intel tab under "Fleet log" and "Exploration" sections
- To remove a bookmark, jusr press "Delete log entry" on the right.
This is a very simple mod and it doesn't allow creating bookmarks with custom text and you can't create bookmarks for remote systems (because the modding API has poor options for UI modding), but I hope it will still be useful
