Just an fyi to everyone using or planning to use this mod. Mod maintainer got caught adding malicious code to one of tartiflette's other mods. I would wait for someone familiar with coding to give the a okay before using this in case something was hidden in this mod too. Cheers

Hmm is the quest to check out the scrapyard for evidence no longer available? Usually I see it the first time I visit the New Aurorian system but not this time. Is there a time limit before it is no longer appearing?

Edit: Hmm just checked on a new game straight to Lunamun. No quest available there.

Hmm. Is this supposed to spawn a system for them?
I cant seem to find them. I have the mod and dependancies enabled yet cant seem to find them on the map.


And  as soon as I post this I hover over a system I swtg I've already done and found them...

Hmm. I added the mod mid game would that be an issue with mission 1? I'm in the system but I dont see any markers nor any unidentified sensor contacts.
It shouldn't cause any issues if added midgame. Unfortunately, the quest objects can be a bit difficult to find sometimes - if you can't find them, try flying increasingly large circles starting at the furthest jump point.

Thanks I managed to find it just by catching a signal ping, flying towards it and then getting another.

If possible maybe add a "The frigate/objective is some distance away from the center of the system" or something like that?

Is it possible to get the WingCom Suite (For the persistent strikecraft development) as a standalone? I quite like it but not as big of a fan with the "not-Mobile Suits"

That being said, still having quite a lot of fun with it.

i've thought about doing this but its not worth maintaining as a seperate mod atm. you should be able to reduce their already small spawn rate to 0 by deleting the faction files in the mod folder, if you want. That said, I think i'll end up splitting the mech stuff up eventually.

Seems I forgot to work on screen scaling last time :-X

Here's a quick attempt (put in Combat Chatter/jars). Also removes the need to manually change font size when using UI scaling.

There's an issue with the vertical offset on the chatter portraits I haven't been able to figure out, and I haven't checked if the text in the boss intro needs a rescaling implementation.

Thanks I'll put this in the mod folder and see how it goes.

Edit: Seems to be working out now.

So I guess I have too many mods for the game to be comfortable with as its starting to say its running out of the RAM allocated to it but I can edit vmparams(?) file to change that.

I think it defaults to 2GB? at least as far as I can tell from my task manager. What's a safe amount that the game can handle? 8? or should I try 4 first?

Actually I just opened it in Notepad++ and its just a long string and no obvious way to tell the game to allocate more RAM. Thoughts?

Thank you Histidine for a great mod. I do enjoy watch my officer talk and provide useful info sometimes.

But I have a problem. I am using 4k monitor..so the chatter box is very very small in the upper right corner and it's overlapping with the command point tiny icon. Is it possible to slightly tweak the position and the font size of the chatter box? That would be great for a poor 4k monitor user :)
Are you using UI scaling? If so, the box may not support scaling and I'll see about fixing it.
Although maybe for larger screens, I should make the box take up a % of screen size anyhow.

Unfortunately, I'm experiencing the same issue. Any luck or am I missing a mod option to fix it?

FYI:
Resolution size is 3440x1440
UI scaling is at 150%

In any case, when I do catch it, at the corner it does give some more personality to the fleet. Thank you.
