I mean, just adding a bit more mining lasers to the Hegemony shops would nicely solve that problem.

Also, I haven't really had time to play the new update but I 100% already know I will prefer to not loot the fuel. It was VERY annoying to constantly take all then dump excess fuel any time you loot a system.

While I agree that there does not NEED to be a warning as there is plenty of ways to work around it, it would be nice if one was added.

The Squall changes were mostly made for the Pegasus. I don’t think it’s a bad change at all. Doesn’t really make it weaker and it’s not weaker at all in its intended role. I still think it’s going to be one of the stronger if not strongest large missiles. Kinetic missiles are just so good.
I thought the changes were because Squalls are OP and overshadow any other Large Missiles?

For the exploration rewards, it would definitely be nice to eventually be told the location of Cryosleepers and Hypershunts. Hypershunts are easy to find if you have the time, but Cryosleepers are 100% luck.

With the new alliance score balance, I don't think instant hegemony victory is going to be a problem anymore.

No idea if this is intended, but since you modified the civilian-hull Hullmod, anything that looks for it doesn't find it. That does include the extra storage, fuel and crew hullmods. That means no maintenance penalty for not having militarized subsystem.

Edit 1: I also noticed that you can't cancel Burn Drive in this unlike in Vanilla.

Edit 2: The Automated ship skill is borked when installing AI cores. The Beta and Alpha cores automatically have 2 vanilla skill that you can't have in AO (Combat Endurance and Field Modulation). You can't remove them and they stack with the AO version of the skill.

I mean, just keep the feature as a opt-in. Unofficial New Game Plus 0.1.0 has a opt-in data collection that give you 1 story point for doing so and it works just fine.

How do you do the infernal machine custom start? I have Nexerelin but I am not seeing it as a custom start option. There is something I missing I guess I just can't seem to find it :/. Even checking the custom start under pirates faction, can't seem to find it.
Need Nexerelin and Underworld.
It will be under Custom Start. You might need to press next page depending how many mods you have.

I had that problem with randomly winning or losing when exploring. The best way to fix that is to add more factions.

The changes to converted hangar are really going to impact the AI. They already use them a lot so I wonder how much stronger they're going to be (and that's a good thing in my opinion).

We need ways to deal with Recreational Drugs and Harvested Organs demands without going Free Port.
What. Are you telling me you believe it should be legal to trade in Recreational Drugs and Harvested Organs? Those are banned in most of the system. Free port is basically saying "You can trave whatever you want here". Of course your need Free port to trade those (which imply you need free port to supply those needs).
