I never cared for the Eagle, it was always a very much MEH ship. Build it to do good damage and it'd have flux problems, build it to be flux efficient and it'd take ages to take anything down.

Upgrade the two small missile to medium missile and give it some more OP, then we can talk.

Build it as aggressively as you can, it is a ship meant to go hog wild. And if it dies, well, the Rugged Construction helps with that.

Low tech got a lot of indirect buffs with the new patch. 3 new ships for greater build choice, some sweet new hullmods and skills that favor low tech, and Burn Drive got a huge buff.

Low tech is stronger than it has ever been—self-imposed low tech runs are viable.

Oh nice, Burn Drive going back to how it was when it first released. Was sad when you could no longer cancel it early...

Hopefully those side turrets on the new frigate can aim behind it, else Salamanders gonna have a fun time with it.

Look how he gutted Impact Mitigation though that favors low-tech ships. If energy wasn't nerfed then high-tech would have well and truly been best tech.

AI does just fine 98% of the time. Players say nothing.

AI doesn't do the exact thing the player wants one time. *LOSES MIND*

If they didn't exist I think Alex would have to nerf armor and armor hullmods. They allow even frigates a cheap/easy way to threaten heavy armor.

I haven't played in a long time, last update I played was the one before colonies were introduced. So, for my first run I'll be spending it relearning the game—at the least I'll have to learn the whole colony management thing.

Biggest reason Alex doesn't just toss the patch out there is bandwidth $$$. Everyone redownloading new versions gets pricey.
