Updating to AO to 0.3 seems to have done it, no crash when encountering a radiant so I'm going to assume it fixed the cryosleeper guardian too

Hmm well that's not the operating system I expected because that's what I have and it works. Well, have you tried the latest version of AO? It should be 1.4.0.3. I attempted to fix it in that version by using an alternative implementation of lazylib. Without some kind of input from the author or someone more experienced with IntelliJ's project dependency features, I am at a loss right now.

If you update to the latest version and it still doesn't work or want to keep your current save an not update the AO version, what you can do is remove this crash from happening by going to ship_data.csv and opening it in open office or another spreadsheet editor and changing the ship system for the radiant and guardian from archean_fluxconverter to something else like archean_displacer or archean_damper.

just started a new game, ran into a cryosleeper and attempted to engage it. got this error message a few seconds after starting the fight. here's the log for the crash; tried updating lazylib to the newest version but that didn't fix it so i'm out of ideas

I put a message up on LazyLib's thread and the modding thread about this. What is your operating system? I can't actually reproduce this but there is something weird going on the dependency in IDE. It doesn't crash for me though.

i seem to have found another bug. somehow, taking a trip into a new system *** with the income from all your colonies.

during a month when i'm not hopping into foreign systems, my colonies are passively bringing in around 1 million credits. if i spend any meaningful amount of time in a system beyond the sector, even if i'm not still inside it when the new month rolls around, the income generated by all my colonies tanks. i'm not certain but i think it's tied to the colony exports

also if u visit a foreign sector and don't survey the planets then sometimes a blueprint mission guy will give u the blueprints in the sector you already left if that makes sense

i think it's happening with the general survey missions, too

It does indeed have to do with the storyline. Story spoilers ahead

Fleets will immediately recognize you no matter the status of your transponder if you got the Ziggurat in your fleet. It supposedly has to do with the Motes it disperses even outside combat that show through your fleet's drive bubble (effectively meaning it does not matter if it's a phase ships if it leaves traces of itself over your whole fleet signature) and are unique across the entire sector, effectively making your fleet fly around with a big "Hello, it's me ya boi" over it.

Thanks for the explanation; can it be "laundered" via selling and rebuying it from a port so it would look like it changed hands, or is the IDing absolute

every faction has somehow gained the ability to automatically ID my fleet regardless of the transponder.

Prior to making some advancement in the main storyline, this was not happening. Only now that I've finished (I think) with the Gates and gone back to doing occasional station raids, I'm seeing that all of the factions instantly know it's me. I went ahead with combat despite the warning to see if it was a false positive, but it wasn't, and they all end up going completely hostile immediately afterward as if i had turned on my transponder.

I have no idea what caused this except that it has to be something in the main storyline.

assuming it would fix this, does anyone know how to re-add a deleted contact and make them active again?

Does that seem like what happened in your case? I believe it could also be caused by doing the same thing with another story-critical contact, such as Rayan Arroyo.

yea, that sounds like it; i purged him from my contacts as soon as it added him, wasn't expecting him to be relevant again. is there a way to edit a save file to re-add him as a contact or am i screwed

After cracking the Kallichore archive and stopping at both Hegemony and Tritach-owned bars (and getting questioned by both factions), I went back to the Galatia Academy and went through all the dialogue about having to find Kelise Astraia. The game didn't add any new missions regarding finding her, nor was there anything relevant available in the Hybrasil system when I went to check. I noticed I got this error message after finishing at the Academy and was wondering if this is an indicator that the main questline just refused to load anything afterward
