Ah, then probably you are hostile with the pirates. You will have to land with your transponder off. be careful not to be near and patrols by the system authorities when you do.

Edit: transponder, not responder. ive got a cold

Thanks for your answer. On the other hand, it feels weird to finnish the delivery missions just by selling them in the market, one or the other. That means that you get the benefit for selling them, plus the payment to accomplish the mission. Actually I was thinking that my mistake could have been that i didn´t use the stations comms directory to stablish contact with someone. That would be more immersive and logical, omho

Hi there, I´m having a similar problem, but it consists of delivery or smuggler missions failing even after making the delivery. I deliver the specific items by selling them in the oopen or black market respectively, as I wasn´t able to find any other way to do it. The ticker keeps on counting days down even after making the delivery. Mind you, it´s happened twice, and the first of those was a delivery of an amount over my capacity, so I made it leaving part of the cargo in the warehouse, in two trips.
I´m using six mods: combat chatter, captain´s log, combat alarm sounds, interesting portraits, audio plus and another portrait pack (sorry, I enjoy some mods every now and then)

THe pirate station being disabled prevented you from landing? It really should not have in my experience.

Thanks for your answer. May be I landed, but definitely I couldn´t use the market, or couldn´t find the way to do it

Suggestions / My first suggestions as a new player

Hello forum! I´ve been playing the game since I bought it last saturday night. Let me tell briefly how I found this gem of a game. I´ve been watching The Expanse (the TV series. Guess you all know about it already. If not, stop what you are doing and go watch it NOW) and I started searching for a game that could put me in that sort of scifi world. I resumed playing Surviving Mars, but it got recently broken by a rushed patch (in another attempt by Paradox to squeeze a game that they´d forgotten for a long time). I also went back to SoaSE, but it still feels designed for multiplayer, as good as it is. Stellaris is not an option, since I got buried under the immense boredom of the late game, and the constant updates and forced DLC´s drive me crazy. Endless Space feels casual...
Distant Worlds looks very interesting, but I´d rather wait until they release DW2, which is to supposed to come this year.

So, I found a video about this game on youtube and it instantly caught my attention. Indeed, it displays the same grim atmosphere that is portrayed in The Expanse, and a lot of other relatable elements that you can figure out by yourselves if you´ve watched the show (including newtonian physics for the ships´movement) 

So here I am, enjoying a new game which I think I can fall in love with, and becoming a part of this nice community. In the few hours I´ve spent with the game a couple of ideas have come to my mind as suggestions for the devs:
- including the ability to negotiate with pirates and give them part of my cargo, so they leave me go without a fight. Don´t need to expand of this one, i think, beyond declaring that I´d rather lose some money than one of my beloved ships.
- Being able to know in advance if a station is disabled. i say this because i planned a trade route that used a pirate station, but on arrival i found that it had been disabled by a recent attack, so there went my plan. So it would be very convenient I think to have info about the station status, either as a specific icon in the map, or in the corresponding tab in the intel section (or both)
Those are my two suggestions for the moment being, but expect more ;-)

I checked the frequent suggestions thread before posting this, so I hope i´m not repeating another previous post.
