Liking some changes for sure. Might try normal Legion with 3 Jackhammers, 2 MK9s, some mortars and the Sarissa fighters. Should help a lot with the flux side issues and the 40 extra OP never hurts. Honestly I'm really excited for the Jackhammers lol. I can think of so many ways to use them.

This is something I've been wondering too. They seem important enough Alex not only added them but even gave them special loot you can acquire. But at the same time they don't really add more combat than anything else (I'll admit since they came out I've never had an issue with defending them, I suppose I just might not play as long as others as I only make it 8 years tops before I'm done) and with the addition of arms dealers even the BP aspect isn't that big of a deal now.

I find slipstreams to be useless most of the time. They never seem to line up with any quests I take and often run in the opposite direction. Asteroids are annoying but at least it's just a slight bump to the side and a minor speed drop as opposed to flinging you who knows where if you aren't actively watching the screen.

@Goumindong

Might be easier to just have Ship EXP as a sole stat instead and skip the slider. Taking hull damage at certain amounts will inflict an "Injured Crew"  temporary D-Mod (reduced max combat readiness?) that can be removed at a station or planet but will cost you Ship EXP if any (and credits of course).

Problem though would be "transferring" crew around in either method though. Currently you can mothball unnecessary ships to "move" the crew to ships that need them. You wouldn't be able to do that in your method or mine so if say your Invictus lost most of it's crew you'd be stuck with the penalties until you returned to "pick up" more. Also speaking of the Invictus it would removed some of the upkeep for a lot of ships.

Could always just make it a bigger Falcon. Give it 65 base speed and balance it to be around 20 DP. Still 6 more DP than a Falcon (and slower) and compared to the Fury it has 25 less speed and less missiles while having 3 actual medium mounts more compared to the Eradicator. It wouldn't have the burst potential of the Eradicator's AAF and missiles while the Fury's better for bullying destroyers and the like but it could stand as the midline 20 DP "fast cruiser". May need some tweaks to get it right but it'd give it an actual role at least.

Edit: Basically 2nd Delta's thoughts. If cruisers are roughly the 14-30 DP range and we can't change it's mounts there's not really any other options without redesigning the ship that I can think of that might work.

I guess the best way to sum up the Lion's Guard discussion is that they can be used by the player. I don't recall too much talk of the Remnant ships other than the Radiant (which was a bit ridiculous at 40 DP) until Automated Ships was released. Now we have talk on how the ships other than the Radiant and Glimmer are subpar in comparisons to the other options available for the player. For better and worse so long as the players could use them they'll inevitably be judged in comparison to everything else the players can use.

Anything for the Knights of Ludd in the works? Granted they only have a single base (and I don't recall ever seeing any fleets for them specifically) but it does seem like a missed opportunity considering a commission with the church names you a Knight if I recall correctly.
