In the Point Defense combat skill, it says the hullmod Integrated Point Defense AI makes small weapons act as PD. But that is only an S-mod bonus for the actual hullmod.

This bar arms dealer does not supply ships; the only tab available in the order window is weapons.

Starsector has a wide spectrum of profit from activities, and hauling garbage from the rim for maybe a 20% profit on the fuel and supplies you spent is pretty low on that spectrum. I don't understand the obsession with ore just because it came out of some vintage space junk instead of a merchant fleet. I mean, surely nobody goes pirate for ore, right? You space that crap, take the goodies and move on.

Hey, just installed this and it works great. I like it! Thanks for making it.

You need to install comm sniffers on several other-faction relays, then you will be informed of every mission posted by that faction when you pass into range of any friendly comm relay, including your own. To do this, simply fly up to a relay and interact with it - though you may need to use Go Dark and transponder off to sneak past patrols.
I have four sniffers for four different factions and the game tells me there's no chance for them to be detected and removed.
