The conquest/unification of the Core Worlds is... kind of the entire point of Nexerelin. :V You're asking for more or less a fundamentally different experience. (And why would conflict over outer colonies not spill into the Core?)

To me the appeal of the mod was that the different factions would colonise worlds as well, expanding markets, and be alive beyond having inconsequential hostilities here and there. Its just that I kept thinking "Nooo Hegemony, you cant just extinguish TriTach!" And had to conquer back their planets for them x)

You can also just disable invasions.
That sounds like a plan, I'll try that. Thanks  :)

Any chance we can get a "preserved core systems" mode? I'd love to have all the functionalities of nexerelin, but the core sector loosing character by having factions wiped out or bereft of their planets by other factions just makes me sad. So that factions colonise the outer systems and battle for them, but the core remains outside of player agency.

Yeah I think the point is that the focus is on space combat, and it has been said that everything non-combat related is too somewhat geared to eventually lead to some sort of combat. If you want a more mercyless sector you can always install respective mods or change the settings to make a lot of activities less rewarding, like bounties.

Everything is copyrighted in the sector, and the pirates dont have any blueprints. So they end up mostly fielding converted logistics ships. If you wanna increase the difficulty of pirates, you can always pass them some paragon and energy weapon blueprints. I think it makes sense they dont start fielding them themselves, cause those faction fleets fielding them are the ones pirates have to run from.

There is one that allow you adjust all skills with threshold.

I even remember having seen the title back when I checked through all the up to date mods for what I would like to play with, but didnt grasp the meaning from the title then... x)

General Discussion / Adjust Automated Ship Skill

I want to adjust the number of deployment points allowed by the skill Automated Ships. I found the setting file, but the number isnt in there, so I suspect I need to change the script "com.fs.starfarer.api.impl.hullmods.Automated" quoted in the settings to change the value. I dont know how that is done. Can someone help me there? :)
