As a fan of the previous alternate difficulty modes, I believe I liked Illiad or Odyssey its been a while tho, it's super cool to see some of their concepts expanded upon in this tweak. I rather missed playing those modes and had forgotten about them. I am excited to try this mod, for sure.

Yeah, just love this mod been using it over several NG+ runs now and is now one of my essential QoL mods for sure. Love how it just helps fill in the information black hole that is combat. No issues I can tell but I am really not the most observant.

I only just saw this mod cuz of the update on the discord. This is so sick. Good companion for ARSWP and it's WW2-era ships when that updates. I'm gonna try this out now, love those portraits.

Tiny update for 0.8.6:
- Changed engine cosmetic mods to apply the campaign engine changes immediately on install and/or when settings are saved

Engine cosmetics required a save/load to get applied in the campaign layer properly. With 0.8.6, the need to reload was eliminated, but they still required a reinstall in some cases like customizing the said cosmetic mods. Finally with 0.8.6a, the need to reinstall the cosmetic mod is also eliminated; any changes will be reflected in the campaign immediately.

By god, they can't be stopped.

So, Kesteven's Commisioned Crew Bonus is a rebate for crew costs. I use Exotica Technologies and apply Commisioned Crews Upgrade to 10, which drastically increases the cost per crew member. This cost is also refundable through the IRS. Thank you, you have made my ships cheaper to run and allowed me a nice little legal loophole for doupledipping on my crew's pay. I love this. We are all winning here, me, my crew, and Kesteven.

Also, the other parts of the mod are all really good too.

Splendid! Ships not having cosmetics applied without a save/reload has been one of my only complaints about this mod. Been using it pretty much since you dropped it and I love to see that little pest swatted down. An excellent mod that just keeps getting better.

Used this mod to make a single system with a water world and a barren planet. Using Grand Colonies, console commands, and some other colony mods in tandem with this, I can always make the exact colony I want if no better systems spawn, giving me a solid colony fallback choice if rng isn't very fun. Plus, this is great since I have no intention of making my own fully fleshed out faction with the same system for regular playthroughs, I get the same system each time but my empire is different.

All these new changes are excellent. I think I might finally mess with adapters and see how potent I can make one ship.

I have learned this is a known issue, not currently compatible with Luna. Updated expected but there is a fix in the discord posted by the mod author in tech support.
