Also, there seems to be an unofficial translation for Appro-light and Appro-light plus on #mod-updates, done by mrmagolor.
I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post the links here, but in the interest of helping other people like me that are looking for the updated version of Appro-Light, here they are:

Sadly tho, Originem won't appear on Unos Station on the 7th in this translation. So, unable to get end game stuff for approlight.

Edit: Got it to finally work. Some issues with case sensitive files for some reason. Required renaming some things.

Are you making sure you're deleting the old version before installing the new version? I can't seem to find the source of this crash either.

It's my first time using the mod, so it's def not an old version.

Alright, uh, sorry about that. I did a comprehensive search of the mod for any "fed_superdestroyer" using the Netbean's search function, and didn't find anything out of place in the cases. Might be an issue with unpacking the file or corruption during download, does it work if you re-download/reinstall it? It is a 7z file, not a standard ZIP.

I think I already did that, but I'll try again when I'm feeling better. Literally after I made my first post, I ended up getting a fever and I got diagnosed with covid. I'll be putting off playing games on my computer for a while an focus getting well in bed. I'll give an update when I try again.

Got a bit of an error when I downloaded and attempted to try your mod. I thought it might have been a case sensitive issue, but the names look all fine to me, and the files are there--I just don't know why it's not being detected.

could still be a case sensitive error, Linux is finicky like that. I just can't find it.

Actually, Kanta won't hate you if you dump her pet out the airlock. Just, make sure he's got the helmet on. If he doesn't, that's when you tank your relationship (probably) past the point of saving with her. Of course, the story is only half finished (if even), there's plenty we haven't seen yet. My bet is your return of the package at least makes her respect you, and possibly willing to make deals with you later on. At least, if her Wormtongue doesn't sour things any more than he already has - I, for one, agree with Cotton's assessment of him.

Do remember that, under the Upcoming Features section of the main landing page, there's still "Determine the fate of the Sector by your actions". By the end of the story arc we have now, we've been presented with a whole lot of potential paths - the Persean League and Hegemony (as two separate paths, plus a third possibly joining together), the Pathers with Cotton, Kanta, and of course the Galatia Academy itself, or something more AI-related if the AI Cores and Omega have anything to say about it.

I actually did do this! I was all like "gdi, okay give him a helmet then since both options are throw him out the air lock" I hope in a future update I can kicked the doctor/wannabe wormtongue's ass.

I gotta admit, was pretty upset with how things turned out with the pirate warlord. I was all like "hell yeah, I'll work for you! Sounds like fun!" Then went to go save her pet, and got steamed rolled into the whole colony and the warlord hating me. Was kind of disappointed and would like this variety in the future.

The mod itself is not part of the game,  just that the game now has endgame stuff that renders this mod unnecessary

So, this mod is now a part of the game now? Am I right in assuming this mod will no longer get updates then? I'm wondering because the last few posts have me confused and I haven't touched the new content yet.

i have played with these borken files for a few days now and it works fine, my antivirus didnt find anything either, so it seems to be save.

The files.catbox.moe site won't load for me period. Could you reupload it on a different file host?

There are a lot of files I'm interested in downloading on that list that are all sadly up on files.catbox

Edit: Nvm, it seems to be working now.

Oh--I didn't think about capitalizing the folder. That slipped my mind. But yeah, it's not a problem that most would encounter on Windows. I'm playing the game on Linux and it's very specific with capitals apparently! I downloaded your fix though, and everything works fine. Thanks for the fix!

I've been having a bit of a problem running this mod. I noticed it was having the same issue I was having with ApproLight--My distro seems to be finicky and wants things with proper capitalization for the graphics files. So when I  saw this:

I went in the hullmods folder and lowered the capitalization for all the files it wanted. Only problem is, this worked for all of them except KT_panicdrive.png. For some reason, the game can't detect this at all no matter if I give it lower capitals or not. I'm not exactly sure what's wrong, or what I'm missing.

I have a feeling that maybe Linux doesn't like reading Chinese characters in the mod which is why it keeps on crashing. Anyways, just wondering if other fellow Linux users have had any trouble or if it's just on my end.

Edit: I think I found the issue. Looking further into the log, and I notice some lines like this:

61489 [Thread-10] ERROR com.fs.graphics.o0oO  - Error loading [graphics/hullmods/AL_AdjustSystem.png] resource

I go into the mod folder to check and see if AL_AdjustSystem.png is there, and it is, but it's labeled as AL_adjustsystem.png. Renaming and adding capitals seem to do the trick and my game hasn't crashed since I started it up. Let's see if there are any further issues.
