I would be happy if FR were just rolled into base, but i do pretty often play without BotB.

I mean yeah, you can do that as a challenge, but you can't do that without feeling like you shot yourself in the foot. Having three build in mods in a capital is nuts. It makes the whole ship building process a non-issue. You don't have to make any choices. You can just have everything you want.

Yes, I mean best of the best is the worst. It removes ship building completely. You can max caps and vents and have all the guns you want.

Do you ever do a play-trough without these two? Flux is the most important thing in this game and these two skills boost it. Other skills are somewhat balanced around a certain type of play-style, like the carrier skills for example, but everyone needs flux. These two skills need to be removed. And before you say "just don't take them", it's like giving crack to a person and saying just don't smoke it. Let's remove these skills.

I like the baseline conquest and it uses two heph and two mark IX, one on each side. Rips stuff up real good. The reapers on the front are the capital/heavy cruiser busters, the heph keeps their shields up for the IX and swats anything smaller.

Have to try that out. When I see machine gun I just think low tech :D. Last time I played conquest, I just slapped mjolnirs on it.

Hephausteus is my favorite gun aesthetically. I love the look and the sound it makes. The problem is I can see no reason to ever use it. Hellbore is just better. I get that Hephausteus shoots faster, so it is better against smaller ships, but the thing is no small ship ever have armour. So I end up using my small slots (dominator, onslaught etc.) to deal with small ships. I want to use my favourite gun. What are some ships and builds that can use Hephaestys assault cannon?

Hello! I'm not big into colony gameplay, I just want to make my own little pirate hideout, like Kanta's Den. It doesn't need to make any money, just break even and serve as a storage/resupply station. Is it possible with this mod? Thanks  :)

I went to Reddit (big mistake) and saw a lot of misleading meme tierlists that might mislead new players. Hopefully search engines will bring them to this thread instead. Just trying to give back to the community.

What a fantastic mod! I am using these ships together with Arma Armature mechs and it is one the most fun fleets I have had in this game. I also love that there is a quest-line. It is so much more interesting to go out and explore when there is more reason behind it than the generic missions. I hope we will see more questing content from you and other modders in the future. I think it is the one thing missing from Starsector mods.
