Pretty much what the topic title says; allowing an EMP type system to specify locations on the ship that it would emit from.
-
you do that with a system hardpoint, I think

Just checked the Omen, which I remember the EMP being emitted from the little bulb in the front:
{
"angle": 0,
"arc": 90,
"id": "WS 004",
"locations": [
34,
-2
],
"mount": "HIDDEN",
"size": "SMALL",
"type": "SYSTEM"
}
I guess thats it?
-
Does that mean you can have several going on at once?
-
maybe.. try it!

Hmmm, interesting; I was looking at the EMP system's code and it didn't seem to support that. I shall mess around with that later... (and it would seem to suggest that yes, you could have several going at once, if the flare behavior is any indication)
-
You can't have more than one going, no. If you specify more than one, it'll just use the first one. If you don't specify any, it should use the center of the ship.

Derp. <.>
Well, at least I already ended up working around this because I didn't know
(I made this instead: its a built-in weapon with a custom beam)

Can it be altered to affect all system slots?
