Title: Pressing F while piloting increases flux

If you press F while piloting a ship it will increase your flux level.
Maybe this is somekind of feature and I'm missing something...
I definitely didn't find anything about it in the manual.

Hope I'm not waisting your time. :P

Undocumented feature :)

Raising flux is potentially useful since it boosts energy weapon damage... but I'm not quite happy with how that works at the moment, so it wasn't documented or intended for players to use (and the AI doesn't use it, either).

Every time I raise my flux on purpose I manage to screw up and overload  :D

I think I'm remapping the Vent Flux function to my button 4 on my mouse, once the settings for it are in.
