Title: Falcon/Eagle changes not implemented?
Post by: Nighteyes on December 21, 2021, 03:01:09 PM
Do I need to start a new game to see these changes?

Quote
Falcon:
Increased top speed to 80 (was: 75), improved acceleration/deceleration substantially
Reduced supplies/recover and supplies/month to 14 (was: 15)
Increased flux dissipation to 400 (was: 350)
Eagle:
Increased flux dissipation to 600 (was: 525)
Increased flux capacity to 11000 (was: 10000)

Currently the Eagle in my fleet still has the old values, and a Falcon being sold in the shop also has the old values.

No, you definitely don't and I just double-checked that the changes made it in. Assuming that you did update to -RC6, this sounds like it'd probably be resolved by a clean reinstall of the game (by saving off your saves/mods/screenshots folders, deleting the game folder, and then running the installer). I suspect that somehow some of the game's files failed to get updated by the reinstall overtop of it - it doesn't happen often, but it does *sometimes*.

Thanks. I'll give it a go and edit this post on the results.

Edit: Reinstall fixed it. Eagle now has the correct values!

Thanks!

Glad that did it!

(You had me scared for a moment that I forgot to include the spreadsheet changes in the build :) )
