Title: Locked and Loaded - a Magic Bounty pack 0.12rc1 (2022/01/16)

This mod adds 20+ unique bounties to the Magic Bounty boards. Some offer interesting rewards, other simply a challenge, or a bit of story to get involved with.

Why make this a separate mod instead of adding it to MagicLib directly? First because I want to separate content from function when it comes to MagicLib, and secondly to avoid the issues of constant updates making it more likely that an important one gets ignored by those not interested in the bounties.

Locked and Loaded had been updated for MagicLib 0.41. This update also includes two new bounties as well as refined fleets for the other ones.

heads up, version checker can tell there's a new version but doesnt have a link available for this new mod-posting. Although i have a feeling this will be moot as soon as i update wont it?

Seem to have a problem with the IBB mission "Payback for Back-Stabbing"... in that I can't take it.

I see the list of missions available, I click it, and nothing happens. It doesn't crash or anything, it's just clicking on the mission does nothing.

I'm running the latest 0.11rc1.

HOTFIX TIME.

Fixed a typo in a ship variant and updated captain skill priorities for several bounties due to changes in 0.95.1a.
Also added a new bounty to make amend.

Do the HVB flagships pull weapons from Superweapons Arsenal (https://fractalsoftworks.com/forum/index.php?topic=22115.0) when the mods are both used at the same time? I was trying to track down some of these unique weapons when I noticed some of the HVB ships had weapons in the bounty target preview that I didn't recognize as vanilla or from faction mods (at least I didn't think so, I'm not sure if I've seen them all yet) when accepting the bounty, but then during the actual fight they never seemed to have them equipped which resulted in an empty weapon slot. Is this a bug?

If you have the latest version of both Locked and Loaded and MagicLib, the HVB loadouts should not change from the bounty screen to the fleet anymore. In general however, the rest of the fleet can sometimes use the "Mercenary" weapons set depending on the faction. I don't know if Superweapons Arsenal adds its weapons to that list though.

Does this add bounties to the IBB listing, or are they in the local bounty boards? I've gotten one IBB bounty so far, but there are none in any of the bounty boards now, and not sure if i'm waiting for them to show up like in Vayra's Sector, or if they should be listed.

IBBs are an entirely different and closed system part of Ship and Weapon Pack. The two are independent one from another. These bounties will show up in an "unsanctioned bounty board" present in most bars.

I'm running a slightly old version of locked and loaded (I think), but in case you haven't caught it, "nuke_help_priest_flock" has fleet_min_DP instead of fleet_min_FP.

It doesn't matter, both attribute names are read even though "fleet_min_FP" is the accurate one.

Hi,

Small question: Should these bounties, if Locked and Loaded is in the mods folder, be listed under the [MagicLib_ListBounties] command in the console? I'm unable to find the unsanctioned bounty list at any market (or so I believe), where in a previous run I did (again, or so I believe).

Is there a way for me to check if these are loaded in properly?

Yes, these bounties would show in the console command. You can try the [MagicLib_listRequirements] command to see when they'll spawn. If you never saw the board at all though, either you somehow disabled the bounty board in the mod's settings, or one of your mod has a corrupted bounty file, or you are using a badly outdated version of MagicLib.

It was an obsolete version of Rotces Rats which caused the issue, I missed the update that fixed this problem. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

Anyone had any issues with bounties from the board spamming success or fail notifications multiple times?  I saw a few "succeed" twice I think, but also had one that I forgot about and failed that spammed the "Bounty Failed" notification on screen constantly.  Attempted restarts of the game to no change.

That's the first time I hear of that one. Which one those were? Was it after a regular battle or were there multiple engagements? Can you tell me more?

Hi, I think I am having the same problem as mmattimeo. I failed the bounty to "Face The Remnant Abomination" and the notification keeps popping up on the left side of my screen, it's pretty noisy, and every time it pops up I'm pretty sure, from testing with console commands, it's decreasing my reputation with the independents by -5 points. Leaving me stuck at -100 Rep with them at all times.

Is there something I can do to make this stop?

Locked&Loaded disagrees with the latest magic lib update, likely only because it has a specific version target instead of 'or higher'.
For reference to anyone wanting to get L&L to work, just remove or edit the version dependency in the mod_info.json.

Side note, best of luck in your future endeavors Tartiflette, you're a great modder and creator. i hope you'll find drive for starsector again in the future, but until then.

It is not. I'm thinking of adding it, though.

How does this look? It would be separate from the existing loot drop option(s).

Without me explaining what that is, does it make sense? There would be a comment explaining it, but it's always better when things are self-explanatory.

edit: On second thought, this doesn't allow you to specify a quantity of each item, eg 500 metals. The only reasonable way to fix that I can think of is to change the weight into an object, and now this starts to look like more complex to use than MagicBounty is supposed to be.

I do like the look of it, if you can't easily randomize the quantity of each separate loot that's just a minor drawback imo

It currently isn't. Just edit the game version and it should work.
