I LOVE this, my only point of complaint is there is no Admiral Kane, while she isn't a "major" character I think she is one of the most memorable and its a shame not to see her here.

Some of them I don't like, others I do, but Hotdog really stands out. Not only does the picture look really good, but his uniform even seems to fit in the universe.

The hardest part of making these was finding a good image of the characters online, that's why some are lower quality than others. For some characters I had to take screenshots of Youtube videos.
For Hotdog there was a full HD face shot, and as you say - he does stand out. I'm not sure if you mean that in a positive way or not though.
My goal was not to go for too much quality that's why I've lowered the quality of some portraits like Admiral Adama's, Lt. Agathon's and Doc's which are IMO just blurry enough NOT to stand out and fit in with the default portraits.
But some portraits like Lee's for example were just bad quality to begin with. Him standing next to Hotdog in the showcase makes it even more noticeable.
If you want me to revisit some portraits just name me some of the characters.
If you can get me the episode that the youtube screenshots were from I can [redacted] the series, go to the ep & get a full res screenshot for you if u want

Sorry for the late answer. The first thing you need is a good picture of the character you want to add. Having a high quality shot of their face makes things so much easier. Then just input it into https://deepdreamgenerator.com/ along with a original portrait from the game files (which fits your character the most). Then I add some finishing touches in Photoshop. Depends on what the AI outcome is. Some are perfect, other need lots of fixing up.
