Title: I just bought a key. Is there any advantage to using it?

Right now i'm using a free key. Is there any reason to start using my own key?

Hi - thank you for your support!

If you want to experience the warm, suffusing glow of using your legitimately-acquired key, you can press Ctrl-K in the launcher and it will prompt you to enter it :)

No reason at the moment beyond the warn fuzzy glow.

I suspect when Alex releases the full version he'll block the "trial keys" in circulation. So you've saved money by getting a legitimate key sooner rather than later:

Im gonna buy it again at full price.

This game sets such an incredible example in game design, communication with it's players and the creative influence they provide. Triple A corpos could really learn something from Starsector

That's why i payed for it  ;D
