Title: Multiple saves!

JUST ****ING DESTROYED MY SAVE. WAS TESTING OUT A NEW WEAPON ON MY FIRST CAPITAL SHIP AND AFTER LOSING IN THE BATTLE LIKE I EXPECTED I WENT TO LOAD MY GAME. ****ING CLICKED SAVE. I ALMOST THREW MY COMPUTER OUT OF THE *** WINDOW. /rage

Is there anywhere I can grab old saves from? Any trainers out that i can alter my money with? Any news of a multiple save function for campaign coming out?

Well, you can go into Dev mode and get a ton of money to buy your ships back, does that help?

Mh. May I suggest you to start over if you screw up? In 1-2 hours you'll have an almost unbeatable fleet as the campaign stands right now :) (also i like the earlygame the best!)

But seriously calm down a little.

Maybe a save confirmation dialog box would solve this issue.

In the meantime dev mode will help.

To get to Dev mode, go to Starfarer/starfarer-core/data/config/setting.json
Open that up, and near the top should be a code called:
   "devMode":false,
Change false to true.  Go into campaign and press some button (I've utterly forgotten which, button, maybe K?" and it'll give you 25000 credits each press.  Have fun.  ;)

Alright I'm about to go back in and cheat till i'm back where I'm at. Thanks for the help guys.

If you didn't save twice, there's a backup file in the save's directory that contains the previous save. You'd have to replace campaign.xml with campaign.xml.bak which should still be your original save.

But yeah, I need to add a "save as" feature. Apologies :)

That's quite a bold statement. Alex deserves credit for being so modest. It must not be easy for him to be a super-hero. ;D
