Title: make important combat information stand out more

It's kind of hard to keep track of the flux meter down in the corner especially since it blends into the background.  And I usually find out my engines are offline by realizing I can't steer.  Could we kind of make those stand out from the background a little more?  Thanks.

Its an odd thing, I hardly ever actually look at the bottom left info, I'm always looking at the meter's directly over my ship. I agree that in chaotic battles it can be quite hard to see whats going on, especially with death explosions.
