Title: [0.9.5a] Coherent Watermelon's Ship Pack (CWSP) | 1.2

A ship pack with a kinda vanilla style aim that i've been working on for a while now. has a lot of fighters, things to deal with fighters, and the ever-beloved Anti-Phase ships!

0.95 update! i also added a bunch of things. i'll update the thread with a more workable full photo of everything included again soon. just a mild mess right now in that regard

The best and most immediate way to contact me would likely be by way of the Starsector Unofficial Discord. If you can't get to there, i'll try to occasionally check the forums so i'll eventually read it anyways.

Current goals:
- make better sounds
- make more ships
- refine this page
- fix bugs (important) fixed nope, still there

Those ships have exactly the same graphical issue, my own-made have - bad lighting/shading.

And as a person, who can't fight his own devil, can not give any advice.

I disagree on that one. Shading might be a bit flat in some places, but calling it bad would be doing the art injustice - general sprite quality is way better than most mods that get a new release here.

The Backpack frigate has one of its ballistic mounts set to be a "TURRET" instead of a "HARDPOINT".

This mod seems to cause a crash on startup when running under Linux:

This seems to be due to this line in the "sounds.json" file:

Changing it to this fixes it:

			{"file":"sounds/cwsp/weapons/partwindup.ogg","pitch":1,"volume":0.3},

The above should only be an issue on Linux (and maybe Macs?) due to them being case-sensitive in paths and filenames. Everything else seems to be fine so far, but I'll be sure to report back if I notice any other issues. Thanks for reading!

Thank you for making me aware! i'll be sure to fix that as soon as possible. Been a little unfocused for the past couple of months, but i'll try my best

it will only break your save if you remove it mid game.

The HVB from this mod drops the Light Swordbreakers which aren't SYSTEM weapons but are only used in fighters and doesn't have a blueprint tag. Are they meant to be kind of a prize from the HVB or did you forget to put no_drop etc. to them?

Also the medium and small swordbreakers(if smalls are intended to be used) are a bit too flexible... 600 range makes them usable as normal HE weapons. So I suggest 500 or 450? range on the medium and 400-ish on the small one.

All these ships look wonderful! Unfortunately, I'm still at work, so I won't be able to test them out until later.

But when I do, I know I won't be disappointed.

for the first issue - i'm aware, i just haven't bothered to remove them fully. they were originally obtainable, but i was told they were spawning waayy too much on AI ships and effectively kneecapping them since it's sorta middling between something like a light assault gun and a small flak. i made them not spawn, but they still show up on the HVB ships due to them being in the variants, so i suppose it's sorta like an HVB reward. especially because the player is the only one that could really put them to use.

as for the latter, i made it that way to both be a good competitor to the regular flak, compensating for blast radius with a little extra range, and also to allow it to be used as an ersatz HE weapon, though yeah i should probably bring it down a wee bit.

I have been waiting for this update for some time.
I had heard that this mod had anti-phase ships but never got to use them.

I like the Hunter's sprite. It has a good "ship" feel, similar to vanilla's Wolf, but actually visible (not like the Wolf that turns into a ball of guns lol). I love the shade of grey/blue used on it too.
