I'm doing a bit of clean up for you, just some minor things.Totally fine. Thanks for the help!
Several folders in the directory were unneeded, and I'm giving all the portraits a unique prefix so they're compatible with other portrait packs (and bo-oy is renaming all those pictures not fun :P ).
Hope you don't mind?
Thanks for this man. I love those Nobunaga 201X portraits! Where did you find them with black/invisible background? All I found are those with striped background from the game

For whatever reason I can't seem to get this mod and Nexerelin to play nicely together. Has anyone else had this issue or found a way to fix it?

What kind of problems are you experiencing?
I've been using them together without any problems for few months now. Are you sure its Nexerelin?
One question though; what do I use to extract the .RAR? The first two recommendations are winZIP and WinRAR but they both want me to pay, are there any free options?
Thank god- a non weeb pack!
The style is consistent which is an absolute necessity.
I just stumbled upon this mod by accident. It looks great, Can I just staple it on my already ongoing campaign or would that break things?
Post Scriptum: I'm already aware I've got to edit the mod version to make it 0.95 compatible
It's a portrait pack you should only need to change the .json version number to the current game version and have everything work just fine.Yeah, I ended up doing this, thanks. Love this portrait pack!
I don't understand why the game even prevents mods from running that don't match the version number. If its gonna break just let it break.
I have no issue furry and anime packs or whatever but we sorely needed a more spaceborne and realistic pack thank you so much for this!
Clearly this is the best portrait pack for the game and the only one that integrates with original style fullly. Why doesnt someone update to 0.95 and post the link? :). I did my own, just by changing versions in the txt file but I think it might need a little extra work as there are occasional gender problems where male portraits would use "her" "she" and vice versa.
I can confirm this works perfectly fine by just changing the modinfo version to the current version.
As for gender issues, that shouldn't be related to the new version at all. Portraits are specifically tied to different genders/pronouns in the mod itself. I went through and they all seem fine, but if there are any incorrectly-assigned portraits, it's a pretty easy fix if you just go into the mod with a text editor. I'll do it myself if I notice any issues. (This is a must-have mod for me, so I'm playing with it right now.)

More to the point, the way the game itself works, it assigns an assumed gender to any given portrait. All faction portrait entries, including in player.faction (where the pool of player-selectable ones is drawn from), divides "portraits" into "standard_male" and "standard_female" classes, and this is checked whenever the game needs to pull a form of address for not just the player, but any character in narration etc.
Anyone got the version that is compatible with 0.95a? I don't know how to change it tbh and i don't want to break my game by changing stuff i don't know. Thank you in advance!

As long as the mod in question is as simple as a portrait pack, all you need to update it is to access the mod's "mod_info.json" with a text editor, then replace the game version required in it with the one you're currently playing on.
Unless you do it yourself, I doubt you'll find an already up to date version of this portrait pack.
@Grimvargr i just tried downloading the file and successfully opened/unpacked it with 7zip.
Do I need to do anything to get this to work with the latest SS version? These look amazing.
