Title: X4 Foundations, it's out

Wow wow wow wow X4 Foundations is out. Been playing Starsector 0.9 I didn't notice.
X series always had plenty of bugs though, but looks like patches are coming out very fast.

Seems like there are tons of HORRIBLE bugs. I would give a year before trying it.

I loved the X-Series, played tons of X3 and did pre-order Rebirth ....
could have set the money on fire, its still crap.  >:(


Even though I should support developers in my own country I won't do buy it for the full price.
Though X4 looks promising, still going to wait at least half a year.

I played it and I can see the potential but the price and the current issues make it hard to recommend to anyone but X3 veterans.

But Egosoft been pumping out patches like madmen so in time when most of the annoyances get smoothed out and some kind of substantial sale happens I recommend to check it out. Beats the new Elite in any case.

I checked every six months and they were still patching X3, then a new game, and they patched that too. I was waiting for an X title to come out, and be relatively polished and playable, but they keep churning out new titles in the same old state. It's like groundhog day in a weird way.
