Hello, do you guys have any recommendations for a good spreadsheet-type CSV editor? I used to have some kind of excel program on my old computer that worked phenomenally and since I just barely set up this computer, I don't really have anything like that installed. If possible I'd like to save time in looking for a good, reliable one. Free, or at least cheap, if possible. Any recommendations are appreciated.

I use LibreOffice. Nice one because it's cross-platform, and free. :D
Don't use Notepad guys, ++ or otherwise. It works, but you will make your CSV-editing a living nightmare. Treat it like a spreadsheet and open it in a spreadsheet editor accordingly.

Not much to add other than what ever editor you use, ensure it's giving you a "raw" view of the data and not an interpreted view. For example Excel will reformat dates and other columns without telling you, then persist those changes on save (same thing with some kinds of numbers or quotes).

Thanks for all of the recommendations guys, I appreciate it. I was using wordpad at first and I've had to close it without saving the changes quite a few times at this point. My friend was telling me about notepad++ so I'll probably give that one a go first.
