The mod is now available!

Only my others mods Artefact and SAD  have missions, except vanilla missions of GS mod, currently(they have be updated), you will need to wait than others modders update their mod with GS bounty.

I have include a SWP bounty, because.... no reason.

For notify, i have updated my GS mod to version 0.21 (a fix of the 0.2)

I have not notify the 0.2 but he add a TAG for chains of missions. We will have soon on next update of qew mods,  GS bounty who will appears and use this mechanic.


The 0.21 have fix a crash of the 0.2

Been playing around with this! It's a lot of fun so far. Experimenting with different types of bounties, and it's really easy to prototype and iterate on!


I have a question about how mission generation works. It seems like bounty posting is related to the reward value compared to the size of your fleet. If I have a large fleet, all the bounties will post for me, but I have a small fleet, I won't see bounties posted for above a given value. Is this intended?

For example, the RandomGuys bounty will show up pretty much all the time regardless of fleet size given a few days of waiting, but the RandomGuys2 bounty, even when the needBounty flag taken off, will only spawn when I have a large fleet. When I lower the reward of RandomGuys2 to 50000 from 300000, it spawns every time.

Is this intended?

Bounty is available if your level * 15 000credits  are higther than the reward. Except when you reach the level 30 where the reward is ignored.
The reward need to represent the difficulty of the bounty.
Currently, we have already somes modders who have out GS bounty on their mod, but on discord, for the moment.

If you create a fun bounty, do not hesit to send me per private message.
You can always try with a mod faction, but i will need to request to the author of the mod if he is ok with this bounty ^^.

Do not put a IBB ship of SWP on GS Bounty, please :p


Do not hesit to feedback any problem linked to a too high reward, typos or bug. Same if this is from a other mod who have added them.



EDIT: Update version 0.22 for fix again a crash.

Update of Gladiator Society mod!

This update add the dynasector functionality who randomize variant of fleet. You need Dynasector for that, else.
I have add a another SWP Bounty. Because... I do not need a reason?
A other point is than they are also available on pirate market.

No, i will maybe wait the 0.9 before try something like that, currently, just add missions on independant/pirate market  like IBB.

Comm Relay spawns fleet near you. More like Gladiator Society. Now you don't have to use fuel to get to bounty.

Maybe have you installed a mod who destroy the balance or others things?
I have memory than you have modified the game for your pleasure, DrakonST, this is normal after than this mod do not give any difficulty reward after that :p

It is just strange that it is possible to finish all these missions using only 3 ships. Just 3 pirate "Infernus" with 3-4 D-mods. IBB missions more difficult.

Uh...you do remember that the infernus is a capital ship right?...Throw three capitals at most things and they will probably come out on top...and the infernus is a decent ship as well.

Gladiator mission cannot be compared to IBB Bounty like they have not unique ship, except on some mods.

Have you tried the list of mod who have somes GS bounty on them?

-Deprecrate the tag "ships" on GS Bounty.

-Remove the Mercury ship of the Badaboum fleet, replaced with a another ship.
-Fix a problem with fight Gladiator fleet where market on the system wannot trade with you.

I do not update the thread when he do not need for update, but here, the number of bug given per the Gladiator Society is probably too big.

No incompatibility exist(Some options of GS are available only with Dyna and Nex, so yeah), maybe i have failed a thing on the rule. But you can use my mod only with comm relay. (They need to be on a starsystem and the Prism Freeport is normally ignored)

Well I have the latest version of the mod and started the current game with it. After some fiddling it seems my late game frequent crashes while saving a copy seem to be the cause of bounties reseting.
Not sure how to post the save.

Probably not that, but a very strange bug, i have this bug for the endless battle round, but the Gladiator bounty, no... weird ^^

So well, Saving problem resolved, problem when you change of com relay resolved, and any others bugs also solved.
Do not need maybe a new game, but sometimes, you will have bug with this update on your old save.
The endless battle reward better, now.

Small hotfix, nothing really, just the limit of officer fixed and a rare case of bug.

Gladiator society has reached the version 1.0, i am pretty happy of what the mod is now, same if the three lasts capitals can be sad.
They are not on the same level than a IBB Ship, they look pretty ugly or standard, but they can cause some damage.
The Lizard Hug has be replaced per the order of the author of the ship, like he begin to made a mod of White ship.

Version 1.0c:  break save if you have the old version, reset just  everything done on Gladiator, and maybe, break Gladiator, but your save keep alive, normally.

Well, the problem is often, than your colony fleet attacked the fleet(Like this is our fleet, your relation, i cannot fix it)
And after, they will lost the order to be full aggressive against you and flee.

Probably has some kind of blocker that filters out IP address ranges; my own, a woefully-ancient copy of PeerBlock 1.2 (albeit with a somewhat-updated list) also blocks HTTP connections to many sites (including the Amazon AWS hosting bitbucket's file downloads) unless I whitelist the address range.

For the first, maybe you have not the last version of SWP, or if you have, well, i need to found the bug on a another space.
For the second, this is a on my to-do list ^^.  (The availability of bounty depends of the level of the player, so this is not problematic, before.)

After, if you see a bounty who give too credits for the difficulty, or too less, do not hesitate ^^. Thank you.

No crash, just a null error in the gladiator society menu dialogue. I don't know how to get a log from that, though. :D

Finally a report of this bug, but i think, i needed the 20 next lines of the bug, the reason appears often after the nullpointer ^^.
Same if he look like the rulecmd is the cause for me, weird.

Yeah, it add just 1 line of dialogue on every com relay where you can battle some fleet on it. This mod do not change anything on the sector. So, it is very invisible when added.

I do not think i will do that, sorry and anyways, with the Tygnon Lord bugged mission, the reset will never come, ah ah. For multiple reasons: Ok, my mod is less on the realistic than the meme mod, but i wish to not too go on the meme mod.  You have many others bounty mods. And also, the endless battle is a bit here for that (same if less fun, i suppose).
After, maybe i need to add more bounty which are just the revenge bounty of each bounty where each gladiator come back with a more big fleet.

Edit: About the bugged mission, i have not relook why this is bugged, but this thing will take a bit of time to be fixed.

Would it be possible to make it so that if you have an IndEvo interstellar relay on a planet you own, you can access gladiator society (since interstellar relay functions as a comm relay). Maybe make it an option when talking to the base commander?

Found a way to get out of the situation:
Open save file ->
Find 'GladiatorSociety_EndlessContentKey' ->
change gladiator faction <nextFaction>hegemony</nextFaction> for example on hegemony

I started a new Game with the 1.3 Beta Version but when I finish a battle from the bounty directory I dont get the reward.

I changed the mod_info.json :
   "gameVersion":"0.96a-10",

And it seems to work. No crash yet.
